From èxperience I can tell you that the amount of gear (some call it crap) you have expands to fill the available space very quickly.

I too like the twin exhaust look, have been thinking of fitting one on the 2+2.

Hi, The indicator stalk has been well covered in a few threads on here. Before you go pulling it apart, try giving all the moving parts a good clean with an electrical contact cleaner (jaycar) also make sure the flasher can is OK. Good Luck with the project Cheers PB

Yep, all original (70's & 80's) Smmons rims use the same centre plate regardless of wether the wheel is 14", 15" or 16". I have a set of 16" 4X114.3 Simmons and the centres are exactly the same as the 15's on the bus.

I used the Tridon HD12 Electro Mechanical flasher can for both the turn & hazard on my car.

Hi I am assuming you mean the coolant temp sensors for the EFI Had to replace one on my car. Have only dealt with Tempe Tyres once, and they certainly don't have the personal touch or attention to detail that Richard displayed in my dealings with him.

Hi Gav, Sorry to derail things, but Richard the owner of Retro Wheels retired to the country about 2 years ago. I am led to believe he sold all the stock etc to Tempe Tyres - see thread below. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/11712-simmons-wheels-repairs/ Neales Wheels in Sydney can also provide repairs etc to Simmons rims but I have never dealt with them so can't comment as to the quality of their work. I have seen that work. The high asking price can result in no one making an offer, and the vendor thinking that there is no market for the item. Then your percieved low offer seems like the only option. Can't hurt to try.

Good point, I was reffering to New Cars. Used cars is a very different situation and generally don't like letting the car go for more than a quick lap.
