  1. Hi $160 is really good value, mine cost somewhat more - but everything in Sydney is expensive.
  2. Hi Alan Glad you got it sorted, one less job on the to-do list Cheers PB
  3. Gidday Nice purchase. The Melb to Sydney drive would have really given you a chance to get to know your new car. Enjoy PB
  4. Hi I was very confident it would be a great & well organised run. And the feedback from those who went along Is testimate to your planning and attention to detail. Cheers
  5. Hi Glad it went well, would loved to be along for the drive - but not to be. Cheers PB
  6. Hi Craig, How did the day go ? Cheers PB
  7. Very wise words indeed from the lecturer. There is huge difference between having knowledge, even vast knowledge and the abilty to put it to practicle and profitable use. Reminds me of a saying I too heard at uni. "Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach"
  8. Hi As much as it pains me, unfortunately I have to give this one a miss, need to look after family. It is shaping up to be the best Z run in recent times. Can someone please take some photos. Have a great day and see you at the next one. Cheers PB
  9. Money no object and dreaming - I would want something like this one. Massive high roof workshop Mezzanine living North facing balcony Bush views http://www.commercialrealestate.com.au/for-sale/?bb=-33.634244611174815%2C-33.648035634573155%2C151.14744623638921%2C151.11880024411016%2C16#adId=2012227617 Lotto time
  10. Thanks, was just stopping work for a cuppa.
  11. HI Gav I have thought about doing exactly this many a time. Just can't see it working with a family. As a bachelor or a childless couple it could work well. I had envisaged getting one of those industrial units that has a large warehouse at ground level and a mezzanine office / apartment area that way I could viewing windows from the apartment How does the idea sit with council zoning rules ? Cheers PB

Hi I have a used one, That I have no use for - but it is in Sydney. Let me know if you get stuck. Cheers PB
  13. He is definately wrong. For $110 for quality jap made glass units is indeed not bad, IMHO a better choice than most of the evilbay offerings
  14. Welcome, Nice car, would great to see some photo's. Re the distrubutor, I agree with Decoy - for a standard engine I wouldn't bother with the expense of an elec dizzy. Just grab a standard points one and away you go. Not sure where you find one in Brisbane but in Sydney try calling - Stewart Wilkins Motorsport - Allzparts (can be hard to get a hold of) Don't be afraid to ask questions, just try searching for an answer first . Cheers PB
  15. Hi Mate The Toyota lights come as a pair, ie 2 in the box. So you only need to order quantity 1 of 90981-01H22. The reason why it is a pair is that it was developed as a replacement / upgrade kit for sealed beam units fitted to earlier Landcruisers. Most dealers do not know this and just assume it is a single piece like every other headlamp. Trust me on this. Cheers PB
  16. Surely that has to be the ultimate man cave - need to win Lotto.
  17. Hi All Hoping to be there. The Z is Cleaned, Fuelled and ready to go. The only risk is that the wife is a touch unwell so things are a little uncertain. Cheers PB
  18. Was at an impressionable age when it was released.
  19. It had an equally risque TV ad. It went along the lines of How you the see the car - shows the car outside the girls house How her parents see the car - shows a four poster double bed outside the girls house. Will see if I can find a copy of it online
  20. Great news, I was getting tempted to grab them. Much better choice of tyres in 16" than my current 15" Well done.. PB
  21. Hi On the drivers side skirt, out of the way but not too hard to get to. Cheers PB
  22. Some very solid forensics there Gav - Well Done
  23. Hi Mate Without pictures it is impossible to give you a decent idea. Especially given it is in pieces, how far apart ? Any parts missing ? Having said that I will start the ball rolling and say maybe $4K But seriously that is just throwing a random number out there. Look forward to seeing photos, and may well change my view then Cheers PB
  24. A lack of engineering certificate will most likely scare a few people off.It might be tricky to get an engineer to approve an almost finished vehicle, especially with custom suspension arms, most prefer to work with you during the build - just a thought. That aside it looks like value. A lot of good gear has gone into building it.
