  5. Last time I used an engineer I spoke to a couple before I found one was actually interested in helping me achieve the end goal, not just getting another consulting job. Working with Bruce on the car was a stress free experience. Unfortunately he has since retired. In short, I would suggest you almost interview them, albeit subtlety, and go with one you feel comfortable with. Investing a little bit of time could save you heaps of stress later on.
  6. I agree with Dave, sliding from one to the other is the easist. Maybe take some car ramps or similar to assist in getting the two platforms closer to level. That is assuming someone can't lend you an engine crane for a few hours ?
  7. Hmmm, I have no idea what you mean ;-)
  8. Just a crazy thought, and an easy mistake. Have you got the leads the right way around, ie Anti Clockwise ?

  10. Hi, Took the bus for the run from Loftus to Scarborough today - not a bad drive. There were a few members of the HWP out and about keeping speeds sensible. Parking at the pub is limited, but hopefully we will be ahead of the crowds. I found great spot for a group photo (see image) about 5 mins from the pub, so if the sun is shining we might all head down there as well. See you all next Sunday morning. PB
  11. Hi Craig An injury ? Hopefully nothing to serious. This run is a lot shorter and definately at a slower pace than the Bells Linre one. Hope to see you next Sunday (edited) Cheers
  12. And some are Copies of Copies of Copies, sort of like chinese whispers - you get the idea.

  20. Hi & Welcome A wiring and relay upgrade is well worth the effort, I would actualy say it is essential if you want to get the full potential of the H4's. The thread below may interest you. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/14747-replacing-headlights-240z/ Cheers PB
  21. Hi, I am not familiar with the Chilton manuals but with 16 years and multiple engines coveredI can't see there being that much detail. Just my 2c worth. Cheers PB

  24. Mine arrived last week. WOW what a difference, I have always found the oil filter cover screws on the DRZ difficult to remove. These screwdrivers fit perfectly and make that job so easy. Thanks Phil !!!! Cheers
