Are all the grub screws under the carbs still there? Lose one and the aux venturi can rotate, tune goes crazy.

Because the ones you have now look like glow plugs but if all your doing is idling around then, yes, keep hot plugs -

Group S and CAMS need to come to there senses HRA -historic rally association at least move with the times I can run triple carbs and any other period parts from the Sports Option catalogue under H81 in this years Alpine rally.

The tell tale for a 2.9 zed box is an oil filler on the drivers side.....most of the time anyway.

I did a front brake conversion only recently and weighed the cals 260z twin spot 4.25kg with pads RX7 (fc) alloy 4spot 3kg with pads

and for what it's worth those mk63 copies in RHD are cast iron, so probably no performance benefit over hilux calipers you can get for $180

From memory early 240z hinges are the same as Datsun 1600 front hinges.

27mm and yes they take forever to take off if u don't have a deep socket.

ok sorry been playing 1600's lately which mount to front. You can only get more caster with a washer or U shim on the TC shaft, pretty limited otherwise use modded XF falcon TC's

Have you got the left and right arms 7 on the right sides coz the swing arm bushes have spacers to one side. Cutting the inside caster bush in half and shortening bush sleeve is a cheap trick to get more caster.

I had a 260Z with a L26 in it, that is till I pulled the head off and found it had peashooter pistons, some prick had stamped a dash on the L20 to make it look like L26!

Its series 1 so yes fiberglass, so depends on your build number maybe. Check if your throttle pedal has a prvision for hand throttle cable.

Love the cement mixer trick, had many a DNF in the last rally car because of rust in tank. Might even give it a go on my vintage motorcyle tanks.

My Performance 16x7 fit mags, even with the standard springs. +25 is r30 skyline.

L24 mr30 skyline flywheel is the the pick at 8kg factory, most other L24 L28 etc are 10.5 to 11kg standard.
