  1. What makes me laugh is these cars came out of the factory with two 43mm carbs One SU feeds 3 cylinders Yet ppl think six 40mm barrels feeding six cylinders can't possibly work, what ever happened to the mantra " don't over carb, don't over cam your Datsun" Sometimes you need to look at the tuner more than the tune of the carbs
  2. Yeah I've got these on a 240K strut I imagine zed bracket is the same
  3. Do you have to cut the old caliper mounts off the front struts and redrill for the SWR mounts?
  4. So 19k becomes almost $22000 with the buyers premium
  5. Good luck so many speculators for any Datsuns these days and what shits me more is they aren't even enthusiasts. These guys did an auction down the road from me last year, couldn't believe all the cars parked every where then of course some prick flys in on his helicopter!
  6. Think they are on ebay, 5 for $10 or similar
  7. I've got gearboxes
  8. 45s are to big for a stock L26 you need 40mm if anything. ADRs got stricter after '76 models, you need to keep pollution gear looking connected
  9. So these are the part numbers on my order 38433 N9000 38432 They are specific to the r200 HR31 diff I have and cost about $35 ea
  10. Love to know if the porsche had triangles out well before the corner Sometimes it's badly placed triangles or crew members randomly walking around that create further accidents
  11. I'd have to look back but I sent a photo of mine with measurement. Nengen changed the site so I could purchase them individually, think about $22ea. They are easy to deal with and speak english.
  12. my LSD was in excellent cond so did the performance upgrade Jason recommended, I bought 2 clutches and 2 springs and gave them to my mechanic( who still has it) we are aiming for around 90lb break away in a gravel rally car.
  13. I got mine from Nengen, no trouble at all
  14. remove inlet hose off pump, fit a long length off hose to it with a small funnel and fill it, turn on pump and try get it to move fuel
  15. I'd still clear it, less polishing work to get a good shine and think of it as sunscreen for your car.
  16. and the beauty of 44mm is you can pop them in the rear hub without having to remove the axles.
  17. I used to grab the rear studs out of r31 skylines 44mm from memory
  18. I didn't build them, used a modified r31 bracket and vented cressida rear disc
  19. had the alloy mounts redrilled and maybe hole opened up? a rx7 rear brake setup came up for sale so bought and fitted it. Rally guys used these apparently good on Hybrid z Tonycharger72 detailed his setup
  20. I got half way through the conversion, use the XF alloy mounts redrilled, probably start with reco calipers as the brake pins are a bastard to take on and off
  21. use a timing light on all six leads to see if you get a consistant spark
  22. The one cliche I wish people would stop using is "unmolested" it's just wrong and gotta be sad for survivors
  23. My exhuast man uses Red so do I and yes avoid paste / cement type sealants for the reasons u mentioned
  24. Did you upgrade the coil for electronic ignition and remove balast resistor? I run idle @1000rpm 17deg static
