    The baffle if riveted / peened in, ya gumboot. Grind the heads off, remove the baffle, then drill & re-tap to M4 I have to do the same to the cover you have stored here.

    LOL Dave! I bet you were surprised when they excepted! I hope the quality was OK...? FWIW the gudgeon pin size isn't an issue, as you'd just have the forged pistons made to suit.

    Very. And you wouldn't bother. FJ20 rods are similar length, and you can buy H-beam versions from MaxSpeeding.

    True. But when set up & tuned correctly - you have 6 ports of the same size feeding an engine instead of 2, it's going to make more HP & torque. You can't beat physics.

    Clearly not. The Ferodo DS Performance pads are a performance road pad. Otherwise I would have suggested some Ferodo DS3000's, Hawk Blues or Project Mu's!

    It's the shithouse Bendex pads - I refuse to use them on any of my cars. Bruce (LightmasterZ) had the same problem. Invest in some Ferodo 'DS Performance' pads - they are perfect for the road. Ring Competition Friction in NSW: http://www.compfriction.com.au/contactus.php Quote the Bendex part number & they'll give you the equivalent in Ferodo.

    Another forum member has bought a new bonnet from MCPA. The Zed we fitted it too is original & has not been in a frontal accident, and I can report back that the fit is good considering we gave it a pretty rough & ready alignment:
