  1. I've got a 2hr run mapped out taking in some NE roads. I'll post up a date later this week. I'm not really interested in driving on straight, suburban, congested roads...
  2. I am more than happy to tell you, most of your welds look shite!
  3. Fair enough Mike. I'll postpone this run till late Feb/Early March so I can get the numbers up & allow Dave Kato time to be there with his Z - thanks to everyone for their interest!
  4. MD Spares: Horcroft place, Moorabbin. OR Moorabbin Auto Spares: Keys Road, Moorabbin.
  5. I would've considered it, but there aren't any decent driving roads out in the west that are close to the city.
  6. I've got a 2hr run mapped out. Just depends on what time everyone want to start?
  7. Mike (NZeder) is in Melbourne for business, so I was wondering if anyone would like to get together on Saturday the 20th of Jan? Either a get together somewhere to talk shit, or go for a run? Anyone interested? L.
  8. Dat2Kman & myself were told at dinner one night during the Morgan Park historic's weekend as few years ago by a CAMS Group S Historic Eligibility officer, and I quote: "I opened the loophole in the Sc rules to allow the late 260Z I was building to be log-booked as a 280Z (with the appropriate parts), then when I received the log book, I closed the loophole! *laughs*" So then I myself asked the question: "So if someone came to you & said: 'I have a factory delivered car with 8" rims, triple Mikuni 44's & larger front MK63 brakes & disc rears' I'd be able to log book a Z within GrpS with these options?" "Yes" came the reply... Nothing. I repeat NOTHING you say changes anything you perceive to be an injustice to Z racing in Australia, Richard. It all came down to who shouted loud enough & who had the deepest pockets... Your argument is completely irreverent, Granddad. Go back out to your shed & work on your Z, because you sure as shit aren't being productive here!
  9. So when in the new project starting, Dave?
  10. Daniel & his Dad bought some parts off me for it, and they told me of the issues of getting a RWC on it. Edit: I just asked Daniel & his priority's have changed.
  11. OK, to clear things up a bit, the headders Ned posted above are the generic Pacemaker / HM Headders style that have been around for decades. These are fine on mildly tuned L6 engines & will clear all manifolds - triples & twin Hitachi's. The ones Jeff posted that are on his engine are the SW Motorsport extractors. They are high performance headders that work best with built higher performance L6's. They are priced accordingly too as they are still hand made - around the $1500 mark (coated). Be advised - they do not fit with the twin Hitachi's. They also foul on certain triple carb manifolds, as the primary shape is longer as it exits the manifold face.
  12. The Z dash lights - even with LED BA9 globes - will not be bright enough to require dimming. When I converted a customers Z to LED globes, we bypasses dimmer switch completely and the owner never complained - if anything he said they could be brighter!
  13. I seen a 240Z with the conversion, but I didn't look at it intently enough to see 'how' it's done. IIRC they are disc over drum?
  14. No longer for sale - apparently Guy's nephew is taking it on.
  15. ^What he said^
  16. The Maddat one looks like it's off a B310 Sunny, so it's unlikely it will fit. If you take your old booster into your local Bursons Auto Parts - they can send it off to be rebuilt. Will cost less than the Maddat item too...
  17. Invert & rotate Counter-Rimwise, then you'll be able to extract it.
  18. Taiwanese bonnets, guards & sugar scoops were available in the late 90's & early 2000's, so it wouldn't surprise me if the bonnet Gav obtained from Japan is one of those. Time will tell...
  19. I agree with Dave. I think you might have jumped the gun a bit Gav...
  20. Muscle Car Parts Australia are now selling NEW vented & un-vented S30 bonnets. Price is $1,250.00 Contact MCPA on: (02) 9821 2229 (02) 9821 2229
  21. Small port.

    Wtb Cassette Deck

    What's a 'cassette deck'?
  23. Jalexquijano, your issues are utterly impossible to diagnose over the internet. And starting a 3rd thread isn't going to change that. Find yourself a chassis dyno & run the car up on it to check what it's doing.
  24. I was going to head along with my Brotato in his VR4 Galant, but with the weather turning foul, I'm out.
