  1. It eats the rust: https://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/17277-derusting-with-molasses/
  2. Pressure wash it out to remove the loose crud, then fill is full of Molasses and let it soak for a couple of weeks.
  3. It's a standard early 240Z finger-trap.
  4. We got the tank out this afternoon - now we know why it was blocking the fuel filter... Good second hand tank is on it's way to me next week.
  5. Just tight, Tai. A dap of lock-tight is a good idea too. Don't forget to fill the tube with light oil or straight engine coolant.
  6. It had a weird clunk from that side. Gland nut was loose.
  7. I removed it prior to blasting.
  8. That doesn't look like a 260Z heater cock...
  9. I'm wanting to buy a pair of washer jets for Robbie's 240Z: Must be in good serviceable condition and able to be posted to 3822. Either PM me here or call: Zero Four Zero Zero Zero Five Four Five Seven Two Cheers, L
  10. Only the bottle and pump was there! And yes, quite probably...
  11. So Robbie has dropped this off to my shop to have a bit of work done in preparation for the Victorian RWC test. One of the main things to deal with is installing windscreen washer hose and jets!
  12. And how much is your new Z worth?
  13. Robbie: https://www.carcoon.com.au
  14. Or you could buy the exact same thing from Steve @ EFi Hardware for the same price. That's what I did:
  15. What I more amazed with Andrew, is how you're getting nearly 4ltrs capacity from an L6 with a Diesel crank!
  16. DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!
  17. Hahaha! Lucky I'm not in a rush...!
  18. In all this tidying, you still haven't posted my special non-Datsun related parts either!
  19. SOLD. Rebuilt Long Nose R200 3.9 ratio with OS Giken SuperLock 1.5 way LSD. Late model VERY low kms 3.9 CW&P, new pinion bearing, new side bearings. 8 thou backlash. Comes with stub axles. Used for less than 5000kms. No period noises or whines - like a brand new diff. Rebuilt and set up by Les Collins a few years ago, it's now surplus to my requirements. SOLD.
  20. It's fine glass media in water, but http://www.woodyshydroblast.com/ have a slightly different process to get this amazing finish (which they keep secret). Les Collins has used other Hydra Jet blasters but they don't get the same amazing finish as Woody's.
