I had a phone call yesterday whilst driving home, Aidannn a forum member here, his father rang me up telling me he couldn't pay for a part he was after because he had passed away on the weekend. I don't know him personally as we had only spoken on the phone or through the forum. From what I know about him is that he was one of the most dedicated person to building up his zed, but sadly it had to end early. May he rest in peace :(

Yes it is Aidan with the orange Zed. So sad. So young. RIP.

There is a tribute on the JDMST forums.

Aidan's family has setup a donation page. Aidan had a dream and their family is trying to accomplish this dream for him as a tribute.

If you have a chance, have a look at the following link:

Very sad, thoughts and prayers to Aidan's family.

Never had the chance to meet Aidan in person but  planned to at a Sydney meet.

Aidan was always happy to offer advice and help with Zeds, and only now, after reading about his efforts outside of cars with charity it truly shows that his heart is in the right place.

You're a credit to your family.

Too soon Mate.

My deepest Condolences to his family and also those who knew him personally.

It seems a repeating theme here that we all know each other yet we don't and its only when one passes on that we regret not having so.

I would urge everyone to get out from behind your PC's and take the next opportunity to reach out and meet some of the great people on this forum.

Any life cut short leaves a hole and a question in all of our lives. Praying for Aidann's Family. Certainly reminds us (as John said) that connecting with one another and living life's opportunities isn't something to be put off for another day.
