  8. That should read "they will clear it through Customs, Quarantine & Wharf costs & have it delivered to your place of preference"
  9. Ship your gear FCL (full container load) Depot to Door with insurance Depot to Door through a forwarding agent. Then when you receive your paper work hand it over to a Customs Agent here & they will clear it through Customs,Quarantine & Wharfage costs & have it delivered to your place of preference.
  10. The Pope and Gillard are on the same stage in Sydney Stadium in front of a huge crowd. The Pope leans towards Gillard and said, "Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy? This joy will not be a momentary display, but will go deep into their hearts and they'll forever speak of this day and rejoice!" Gillard replied, "I seriously doubt that! With one little wave of your hand?....Show me!" So the Pope backhanded her and knocked her off the stage! AND THE CROWD ROARED & CHEERED WILDLY and there was happiness throughout the land! Kind of brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it?
  11. Craig not sure what's happening yet. Have previously done Omeo, Hotham, outskirts of Bright, Towonga Gap to Mt Beauty, Falls Creek, Blue Duck for a coupla pots & home to Omeo in 3 hrs... A real good afternoon!!!
  12. Anyone wanting the option to come up through Gippsland would be to Bairnsdale to Omeo then the Omeo highway out past the Blue Duck at Anglers Rest then the Buckety High plains Rd over the Rocky Valley Dam to Falls Creek. Then down through the Bogong Village to Mount Beauty, then over the Towonga Gap to Bright. You wont get a better drive in a Zed...Hope that helps
  13. The Great Alpine Road is shut between Harrietville & Dinner Plain
  14. Hey Jason, know what you mean, used to go home covered in grass stains or if I took the billy cart covered in blood. Some great slopes & great long paths for the cart !!!! Jim
  15. Nah!! Took the tow bar off a while ago
  16. G,day, Just picked up our new Triton GLX Club cab with alloy tray from Traralgon yesterday. Very impressed with performance & handling so far (350k's). Should give us a few more options of towing the camper trailer than the BF one tonner we had. Any one on here got one?? Interested to hear what you reckon. Thanks Jim (not joining the grey nomads just yet)
  17. G,day Peter, There has been snow about on Mt Hotham & Falls Creek but some rain is forecast so that should wash it away unless there is a heavy dump of snow again. The Buckety High Plains Rd is scheduled to be closed on 14 June after the long weekend so you still might get a run in before it closes. You could also bypass Falls Creek & stay on the Omeo Highway through to Mitta Mitta (about 26k's of dirt but they are preparing about 8-10k's for sealing now) & have no trouble finding your way home from there. I will PM you..Jim
  18. G,day Silverz, I am in Omeo so I know what you mean about our roads up here. A good run is Bright, Mt Hotham down to Omeo for refreshments & catch up then the Omeo Highway past the Blue Duck then up the Buckety High Plains Rd to Falls Creek down to Mt Beauty then home. All in a good days drive. You would need to keep an eye on the weather forecasts & they shut the Buckety High Plains Rd for winter, so do it sooner rather than later. Good Luck Jim
