Entrants will be advised well in advance of the event. g) In accordance with our Track Hire Contract with Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, a maximum of 60 litres of fuel per car may be stored in each garage at any one time. Additional Fuel must be stored outside the garage in the paddock area. Maybe? Probably highly expensive but pretty good if you don't want to be lugging around jerry cans full of juice.

What's up with the pedal arrangement on that one above? The clutch looks like it overlaps the brake and the brake seems oddly far away from the accelerator or is it just the angle of the photo making it look like that?

Is it worth trying another carrier? Yeah they are more expensive but it seems you are set to lose some money if you totally cancel now anyways? It is a fair hike from the airport to P.I by the way. Would be nice to be Lindsay Fox I reckon and use your private chopper to get there.

I was thinking of doing my own but didn't want to risk getting sealant smeared all over the new interior etc if I made a mistake. Not to mention fitting the stainless trim around the border might be a bit tricky as well if you don't know what you are doing. I don't know why you wouldn't use sealant just because it's a new rubber though? I mean it's not going to stay new forever so might as well seal it while it's out instead of patching it later if it starts to leak. I ended up asking for the oldest guy that had experience installing the metal trims. After watching him, I think it's a doable thing but personally I'd rather just pay the $100 he charged just for the piece of mind and professional job.

I guess you could try it on that it only says "recommended" engine size but I reckon my guy would say no. Unless you were willing to pretty much re-engineer/strengthen every other aspect of the car and do non-destructive testing on all the components to prove it was all above board. Unless you have something just so rare or different that you just want to power your car with, it's not worth the hassle as you can pretty much get more than enough power out of any of the available engines that we can slot into our cars. Next time I talk to the gingerbeer, I will casually ask him about the "recommended" engine size and just see what he says about it.

This is a rust free spare wheel well I have here. Good to replace a rusted out one if you are doing a resto. It has been cut around the spot welded lip so you should be able to drill out the spot welds and just drop it in to your existing hole. Looking for $90 for this.
