  1. Thought this might be worth posting here if people had not seen it before. http://press.nissan-global.com/COMMON/HERITAGE/database/en_index.html I love the ZG patrol car. http://press.nissan-global.com/COMMON/HERITAGE/database/en_detail.html?329 And some ( a lot ) of pics of a tour inside can be found here. http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=general&msg_id=2079707
  2. It's just the vibe of the thing that is stopping him.
  3. Cheap freight for such a large fragile item. I assume the lid opens the 'wrong' way and you need to re-hinge it the 'right' way?
  4. Pretty cool. Amazing that not even any fluids got spilt either.
  5. Hotfrog tells me no S130's allowed
  6. These seem pretty good. I was going to make a set of my own but for the price of these, might as well buy them. Although it does say unavailable. http://www.zccjdm.com/catalog.php/azcarbum/dt93256/pd2119851/280Z_SCCA_LEGAL_2__FRONT_AND_REAR_TOW_BRACKETS_
  7. Hope the dole office is still standing then, otherwise it the earthquake will be followed by riots and looting.
  8. I felt it for around 5 seconds, enough to shake the desk around a bit. A mate felt it all the way out in craigieburn for around 20 seconds as well so it must've been pretty huge.
  9. Or come stay at my place and help finish my car
  10. They look good enough to drink from. I might buy them and use them in a bar to pour scotch and bourbon.
  11. Happy birthday mate! There's no turning back now.
  12. You are happy with the handling and performance? I definitely do not rate either of those highly, but this is not the reason to buy these cars in the first place IMO. I have a GLXR and the thing handles like a boat and is ridiculously unpredictable in 2wd mode on slightly slippery surfaces, but as I said, did not expect this car to rate high up in those departments anyway. Maybe the club cab might handle a bit better and perform better due to its weight saving over the GLXR? I don't know.
  13. You wouldn't want to sleep with a real gun by your bedside table. One day you might wake up with the phone ringing and grab the wrong gun......................
  14. Here ya go if you want to go full Magyver styles and make it from scratch. http://www.fjr1300.info/howto/rivnut-tool.html
  15. I got one from an aussie ebay seller when he had them on special/clearance for $40ea (sorry can't find the buyer anymore as it was over a year ago. It works pretty good for the money and came with the other mandrels to fit different sized rivnuts and also came with some rivnuts as well. Sometimes it's just not worth making your own stuff unless it's just for the satisfaction of doing it or just because you can. You just have to be aware to grab the correct nuts and drill bits to suit imperial sizes if they don't have metric sizes available.
  16. First you need this, to get to that!
  17. I can "give" you the top pair in this pic if you want. They are in 'average' condition. You can have these for postage cost and a small donation to the website if you like.
  18. We did a group buy of these around a year ago for around 10 sets and they are pretty good I reckon. Cost us about $1000 if I remember correctly landed in Aus for the front and back ones. Someone had their set for sale recently in the for sale section (well duh).
  19. Great work Linton, you should be very proud of the work you've done and all done at home. Excellent!
  20. They are nice seats. Only reason I didn't get them is because of the sti logo on most of them. The drivers side is pretty straight forward to mod by moving the rails inward a bit and welding a few new lugs to get them to meet up with the floor. The passenger side is a fair bit harder due to the extra camel hump that is on the trans tunnel and the seat rails are alot wider on the wrx seats so they either have to be moved inwards or chop them out completely and weld in some stock z car rails in place. I'd like to help you fit them but to be honest with you, I have a lot of work on at the moment and still working on completing my car so I would not be able to help you in the near future.
  21. Yep, forgot all about these for a while there. If you wanted to get them at 2.30am I would have sold them to you for $900. But since it's 7.30am I can let them go for $450 if interested.
  22. 75 db? Seriously WTH? So you're allowed to drive up and down residential streets all day long with 96db and ride your Harley while blipping the throttle at every opportunity but heaven forbids on a dedicated racetrack you are limited to 75db! *rant off
  23. The dynos are calibrated to 'black caviar' outputs
  24. cherry? *edit LoL beaten to it by 10 seconds
