luvemfast Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 I almost choked on my vitabrits then bahaha You've named your dog Vitabrits? Quote
Roberto Posted March 27, 2012 Author Posted March 27, 2012 what are you doing with the other one? AND How much do you want for it? (have I mentioned how much I just LOVE Adelaide? South Australians are the finest people in the world. ) The plan was to end up selling it aswell as my other fiberglass spoiler. At least that is what I told the wife I will be asking around $150 for FG and $400 for Xenon as it is brand new and hard to get here in Aus. The FG one has been trimmed for flares and wide tyres (245). When you drive over to Adelaide for your next family holiday, you can collect it to save on postage. Quote
Aliangus Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 That engine looks awesome. I have forgotten about that screwdriver Mick. You can keep it. A drive to Murray Bridge through the Adelaide Hills is a great idea though....... If you want to turn this trip into a cruise, I'm in. Quote
MaygZ Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 You've named your dog Vitabrits? I've just been 'Beebered'. I think I laughed so hard a little bit of wee came out! Quote

Roberto Posted April 7, 2012 Author Posted April 7, 2012 I spent the whole afternoon mounting the reskinned dash and three centre gauges since I cannot start the new engine without vitals like oil pressure, tacho etc. My goal was to start her this weekend........ Quote

Riceburner Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Oh the sound, love it! It's come up a treat, well done Roberto Quote
Roberto Posted April 14, 2012 Author Posted April 14, 2012 Thanks for all the support guys. Yes, I will do another video when the exhaust goes on. Might go for 3" as recommended by Peter..... The interior is all completed now with new centre console. I even managed to get my interior lights and glove box light to work too. These haven't worked in years. No such luck with my engine bay inspection light. There is no power going through the lead from the harness. No fuses appear blown. Where do I go from here? :'( Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted April 15, 2012 Administrators Posted April 15, 2012 Amazing how fixing the little things can be so rewarding. Perhaps with engine bay light check for corrosion? What does multi-meter say and what kind of resistance is there? Quote
