Hi guys, I have sold my 2+2, now I'd like to move some parts that it wasn't feasible for the buyer to take with him. 4x14" 260Z alloys, all with heaps of tread left on the tyres, centre caps and full set of wheel nuts. $300 ono Original 260Z Steering wheel - not in very good condition would need refinishing, but complete with centre cap. price = small donation to site. Sadly, the bus has been sold, and will be on its way to its new owner tomorrow.... the buyer is aware of VicZcar, and I'll let him make himself known if he chooses. Unfortunately it wasn't feasible for the buyer to take the original steering wheel and alloys, so they will be for sale in the parts section soon.

Contact Details: PM / Mobile: zero four zero eight zero eight two zero one nine To expand a bit on the template details: I bought this car from a well known Victorian forum member about two years ago, deal was virtually done over the phone after advice from Lurch/TinpotHitler that this was a good straight Z and well worth buying. I bought the car to be a weekender to enjoy, and it has been exactly that. It's reliable, fun to drive and in good enough condition to turn heads. The car has the original L26 and matching 5 speed manual. Before my ownership the car had Genie headers and round-top carby's fitted. Since owning the car I have: fitted a Momo steering wheel as the rubber on the original was a bit spongy. Original wheel will be included with sale. fitted 16x7 (front) and 16x8 (rear) performance superlites. Tyres have only done about 4,000kms, so obviously have plenty of tread left. Also included in sale are 5x original Z alloys, all tyres on these are also in excellent condition. Overhauled the brakes, including new master cylinder. Fitted a new battery There is a small amount of rust in the left dog-leg and door, and a small amount behind the right rear wheel, but for a Z this car has very little rust. Cheers, Alex.

Sorry it's not the best pic, but hopefully it gives you some idea. They fill out the guard reasonably well, with the tyre sitting close to inline with the bodywork not way inside it like the standard rims but still have plenty of clearance.

I've got 16" superlites on my 77 2+2, they fit fine, no mods needed. I've got 16x7 +12 fronts and 16x8 +4 rears, just because i thought the wider rear would fill the guards a bit better and I wasn't worried about not being able to rotate the tyres front to rear.

I commute on a bike most days. I just changed from an Avanti 26" with normal brakes to a GT Karakoram 3.0 29" with disc brakes. I'd buy a new bike, from what I've experienced second hand bikes mean its just sooner until spokes start going ping, derailers need adjusting, brakes are shot etc and you spend more time fixing them than riding them. I'd go with disc brakes - they are much better. Front suspension lockout is a nice touch too, makes riding on the road a little bit easier as energy from pedalling isn't lost into suspension movement. The 29" is smoother and faster to ride than the 26", can't comment so much on the nimbleness, because I'm not nimble anyway so it doesn't matter what the bike does. The GT is a good bike for about the $800 mark, (add a bit more if you want to swap to cleat pedals etc), and it's a pretty reasonable kit to get you started and see if its for you.

your car is coming along nicely Chris. If you can't find the watherstrip as a stand alone part, have a look in the parts for sale section - StMok is trying to sell a couple of sets of complete rear windows - that may get you what you need?

I don't know what the NSW rego laws are, but my understanding is that in SA you can only get historic/club rego if you have matching numbers, which you may or may not want to look into depending on what your plans for the car are.
