  2. Indicators are gone, turns out I'm also missing the compressor for the Aircon system, so it's mainly brackets, in car controls, etc. I'll take a pic for you tomorrow.
  3. Hey All, Dug out the last of the parts boxes over the week and sorted through them, looking to shed this before I do a dump run. Looking at pickup only, after a week or so I'll entertain postage. Most of an aircon system, missing condenser? I believe. Including engine brackets, etc. Can take a photo for those interested. $100 ono One set of gauges, taco/speedo, trio of smaller. $20 ono Two pair of rear light lenses One pair rear light surrounds, spare pair of chome trims One pair front fogs One pair front guard indicators $20ono Badges (pair of metal C pillar, pair of plastic C pillar, one bonnet, two pairs of front guard) Door trim stuff, armrest caps, lower door handle surrounds (chrome and plastic) $20 ono Pair of inspection panels Petrol filler door $20 ono Let me know if pricing is too high, each group has a fair few contents.
  4. Not sure Ledge, it is no longer in its packaging. Looks to be of reasonable quality, although I can't comment on fitment.
  5. Clearly put it up too cheap, PM sent.
  6. Christmas cleanouts have uncovered some bushes and rubbers taking up space in the shed. Without a Zed at the moment seems silly to keep them taking up space. Righthand door rubber. This is for a 260z 2+2, and only the door portion, not the smaller window rubber. $50? Front Windscreen rubber. Believe these are universal? $75? Rear hatch rubber. For a 2+2, unsure if these are universal? $35? Complete set of urethane bushes from thezstore.com. I bought a set for the early model 260z 2+2 and it comes with the following sets of bushes: Control arm front Control arm rear Tension rod Diff moustache bar Steering coupler Sway bar Steering rack I think I paid around 230-240 landed in Aus, so $175? Also got a complete front valence set in average condition, a BRE style front spoiler, and a pair of door cards for early 260z 2+2. These items are large enough that I'm unwilling to post, so come pick them all up for $50. Open to offers/suggestions on pricing, I couldn't see anything similar in the past couple of pages of sale ads. Happy to post all but the last items for those interstate.

  9. R200 Longnose 4.1 clutchpack diff. Not much else to say, asking $1000. Feel free to ask any questions.
  10. I'll echo everyone else that there's nothing to do in Adelaide Spend it with people you know. Nothing better to do.
  11. Sold pending.
  12. You sell your girlfriends?
  13. Thankyou For anyone wondering, I will be getting most of the interior bits and bobs done this weekend.
  14. Thinking about changing cars, if it doesn't sell I'll just hold onto it. Model: 260z 2+2 - "Ferrari Red" Location: Adelaide Price and Payment Conditions: $9000, happy to take bank transfers or cash on pickup. Condition: Excellent Body: No rust visible, recent rust removal/paint (12 months) Mechanical: Running well, used 3/4 times a week. Registration: Reg till August 2013 Roadworthy supplied: N/A in SA Contact: oh four oh nine - two three six - nine two six Bought the car in June/July 2010 and has been my daily since. Running an L28 and Bluebird box (Dyno'd 150HP ATW when tuned), with standard rear diff (3.9). Car had a nasty clunk when changing throttle position drastically when bought, I replaced the engine and differential mounts (NOS) and problem solved. Engine is stock as far as I know. Twin side-drafts (From what I am told by my carburetor specialist, they are British SUs), tuned, balanced and re-needled. Rejetted recently (Receipts for work done) Replaced rear wheel bearings (NOS) Replaced halfshafts (Decent condition from Barry at Adelaide Z) Replaced front wheel bearings (NOS) Replaced front brake pads, rotors, flexible hoses. (<2000km) New thermostat New master and slave cylinder (Stainless steel sleeved version from Powerbrakes, around $150 from memory) Car alarm/Immobiliser When I bought the car the PO had significantly changed the inside, creating a lockbox where the rear seats sit, and fitting non standard seats. I bought the seats which RBZ260 had in his 260, installed custom seat mounts, and also refitted the rear seats. Rear plastic panels have been overhauled and refreshed with colour coat (Not spraypaint). New headlining New carpets Uncracked dash Removed 3rd party radio, installed amplifier under front passenger seat, 3.5mm headphone jack sits in ashtray in console. Rear speakers fitted behind rear interior panels. I spun up some disks and epoxied them behind the perforated areas to hide the speakers. Was intending to fit a front set also, but see no real need at this point in time. Also didn't want to cut holes in the door cards I reskinned (same material as headlining with vinyl top). Hood was replaced/resprayed middle of last year as part of insurance claim. (No frame damage, just rolled hood/bent bumper) Insurance allowed me to get rid of my bog filled bonnet for the one from Roberto's car (He has since replaced his with a CF hood). Hood is a non vented hood with vent holes cut into it. Repro bumper also part of claim, brand new chrome. While the car was at the shop I had some other issues addressed: Front guard badges deleted Ariel hole deleted Rust in rear quarters repaired Rust in guards repaired Rust in doors repaired (None of these areas was larger than 10/20c piece. Had bubbles starting to show, figured might as well get the work done while it was there) Rust free hatch installed New hatch rubber New hatch slam panel Rear lights reconditioned/painted (Matt black, match hood vents) New air dam Fresh coat of paint over entire car. Rear bumper deleted by PO Negatives: Rear demister does not work Currently has no grill (Will remedy before sale) Currently only 1 door card fitted (Will remedy before sale) Windscreen washer bottle does not work. Handbrake could do with adjusting. Missing hatch badge (Will remedy before sale) Car does not leak fluids, starts and runs well. I’ve been using it as my daily for over two years now and the only problem I’ve had was the clutch master leaking, which was a simple swap job to fix. Happy to answer any questions, feel free to contact me on my mobile or through the forum.
  15. Space for 1 more? Old man used to race out there, so it'd be nice to take a trip out again.
  16. That. Just looked that way from the photos, nevermind They look great fitted, well done!
  17. Those look really good, interested to see if the increased size creates any problems when fitting the back seats to the car.
  18. Hey Guys, Not sure where to put this as it doesn't really fit anything. I'm wondering if there are any compatible gear boots which are still available for a manual 260Z (75 2+2 if it matters). I had mine off not long ago and it was shagged, but I didn't have a decent replacement. I found this one on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/DATSUN-510-Violet-A10-1978-1981-Truck-720-1979-1985-Gear-Shifting-Boot-/370635764708?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item564b9cf3e4&vxp=mtr#vi-ilComp Which looks like it would fit the profile of the metal surround, but I figured I'd ask you guys too. Thanks for any help!
  19. sonofabitch. If only there were enough of those deals for us all :<
  20. Oi, none of that.

  22. Clucky. Looks good!
  23. You've obviously got some experience under your belt Scoota, but any tips for a newbie to this? What are you using to cut sections out prior to treating, etc? Angle/die grinder with cuttoffs?
