eBay reproduction plate. To the unknowing eye they would not know the difference but the font is different to the original font and spacing between letters and numbers is different too..

Hey guys, well decided to sell my 260z 2 seater.

bought it with big plans but usual story, too many projects and no time.

came from small county town in Queensland.

Elderly lady owner purchased it 25+years ago but has been stored for 15+years due to ill health.

It's a 1976 260z auto (comes with manual 280z box), body is pretty good. Few dings and usual paint fade.

Not much rust, couple minor light bubbles in drivers door but not serious. And some on the cowl panel but early fixed.

Has rust in driver and passenger floor but only small area. I have purchased new complete rare spare floor sections to patch up.

I haven't started it since I bought it, needs new fuel lines and probably the tank cleaned out. However was told it was running perfectly when stored. Oil is clean and it cranks over fine.

She was told it was a reconditioned engine when she bought it.

Comes with the following new parts.

-brake master cylinder

-clutch master cylinder

clutch slave cylinder

-front and rear brake hoses

-front brake pads

-water ptmp

-fuel pump

-280z manual box

-fixed back drivers seat and black passenger

-bolt on flares.

-rear Venetian

Car is located at my folks property in withcott at base of Toowoomba range (1.5h from Brisbane) inspections to be arranged.

Datsun 260z 2 Seater (Same as 240z) V8 5-SP Manual.

Engineered with a 308 Holden V8. (One could easily convert it back to an L26 as all mounts are bolt in with nothing welded if you are not into the V8. It could be done in a weekend.)

All original gauges (all working with V8).

308 was rebuilt not too long ago (high compression).

Mild cam and dual valve springs.

Chassis has been strengthened and front control arms as in engineers certificate.

Dellows bellhousing to suit the W58 Steel case, 5 Speed Manual with fairly new clutch.

Seats Re-Upholstered.

Fairly rust free car painted in the original colour around 10 years ago.

Car is very clean and solid.

All chrome work in good condition.

New bosch 90 amp alternator.

Basically new tyres.

On club rego.

It is almost impossible to engineer a Zed with a V8 anymore so this is extremely rare.

Looking at selling my 1974 datsun 260z

This car is in great condition for its age it has beed in dry storage since 1989 with only 55000kms

The car blew a head gasket in 1989 and the head was removed and the car was covered up and never touched until about 6 months ago it is 99% rust free with only a little bit in the battery tray .

The paint washed up pretty well

The car will need a good tidy up after 25years of rest

May be intrested in swaps
