If you go to Vicroads and look up the number plate: ABW641 you'll see it has the same chassis code: HS30 103529 Incidentally the L24 engine number Lindsay has quoted in his Gumtree ad seems to be within the correct range for that chassis no... so someone has the wrong recorded chassis number (Vicroads perhaps?) or 2 cars have the same identity? Car is in very good condition, has been my daily drive for more than 20 years and has been well maintained for the whole period. No obvious rust problems. Bonnet needs new paint. Has heaps of typical Datsun rust and body filler, so needs body works still. Most parts there. Heavy duty King Springs. Matching numbers car. Auto. Can source 5speed if interested to convert. This car runs and starts at click. Still needs a lot of work, but worth it! Been sitting in garage. Unfortunately we are moving house. No time nor space to continue car build. Rear Louvre & rims were burrowed and are not included in sale. Can assist transport. No offers, need to call for viewing, first to see will probably buy. Been garaged for the past 5 years. - full body respray in metallic gun metal grey - all new rubbers all round - no rust in problem areas and been rust prevented throughout the whole car - 280z motor with twin S.U carbies - new seals in gearbox - motor rebuilt 3 years ago - Tyers with good amount of tread on them - new dash board - new console - nice pioneer sound system - extractors and exhaust with a nice note Just need a new owner who has enough time and space for this amazing car, it will be surely missed.
