Cars running injection must retain the original intake manifold and throttle body, metal may be removed from inside manifold and throttle body. Bozo, Nismo in Japan offered me an ex race built R35, at equivalent of $120,000 AUD. Not able to be road registered in Australa, but could be run in road type events on tempirary permits. Why the desire for 16 inch diam rims? Hard to get decent rubber, and the rubbere you can get is pricey! Yes will clear calipers on oh so sexay big brake setups. Unbolt r32 bellhousing, Place in rubbish bin, Replace with a L series bellhousing. It needs a bit of drilling and machining to the holes in the middle.

That car, reverted back to a 1981 specification, would be, here in Australa, very capable of doing quite well, in fact, very well, in the right hands, as a CAMS Logbooked Group T car. Some of the Victorians have seen what a four cylinder Group T car can achieve, in 50 car fields at PI, this S30 could well be front row material. So what if it is a bit rough, it's a jolly race car!

Mike, You know any more about that blue Muira replica? What does it start off as? ( hoping not a vw ) The front windscreen is the biggest issue, unless they alter the screen opening to suit something else. I suspect the cancer giving offsett is due to VW track? Bloke in USA converted a Pontiac Fiero V6 into a Muira, did a very nice job, he got an original screen, cost him $8000! AND, there are a pair of oriental gentleman in Slack Creek Qld, trying to make, and sell, Countach replicas, that sit on a VW floorpan, to solve the wheelbase disparity,,,,,,, they shortened the original body mould! Subsequently, none have sold!
