    Z's In The Mist

Not the sort of roads you want to take your Z on every weekend but a great place when you get there. Only prob you have to come down off the mountain sometime. https://youtu.be/CFRsaQCUhrs.
  7. You wanna get shot. LOL.
  8. Hi what is everyone doing for Australia Day around SEQ. There is a Australia Day Car show at the Loganholme State School if anyone is interested. This is my local area and would be good to see a few Z's there.
  9. Black Penzoil container did the trick for me although you have to get some good glue to make it stick.
  10. I am starting to find this out looking for a two seater.
  11. Wouldn't be going to a certain Reverend by any chance?

  15. Yep Mick thats why I keep some spares in the glove box.
  16. Well done mate. Close to all that I did to my Z. I used 1"lowered king springs and my car def sits lower than yours. Congrats on a job well done and will be good to see colour on it. Peter.
  17. Another great day out at Bryon Bay. Not many cars but three Z cars. Sorry no pics. Top drive home again trying to keep up with Curtis and Peter and their biker mates through the mountains on the old road home.
  18. OK last Cars and Coffee for the year at Bryon Bay tomorrow. Who wants to meet up for a cruise down there around 7am say at the Fitzys Hotel Loganholme. and come home when you want? Great cruise and day out. '" Christmas Outing"
  19. I had all my plastic bits covered in vinyl as they were faded and cracked. Check out my build thread.
  20. Exzacely what i did. Drilled the sucker out and used Zinc coated bolts so it can be pulled out and cleaned up any time. Only thing I didn't replace the plastic tray due to being slack, now have to clean it up again. Dry cell battery here we come.
  21. I just use rubber block off caps from Repco. I have a bag of various sizes and clamps in the glove box should any of them fail. In the old days I just used a piece of wood and made it fit with the old roo skinning knife and shoved it up the hose and did the clamp up. Bit rough but it worked. You can also get tapered plugs from Repco to block holes in the block, just be careful doing them up because the further you go the tighter they get.
  22. Hemco will make to order. I sent my samples to them and they copied them.
