  1. Did have one Locky but the tray cracked and thats what started the corrosion. I have bought a new one but it doesnt have the drain tube. Only place I have found that have the drain ones are ex USA unless you can direct me to someone here. All the usual auto shops don't seem to stock them. MSA US$7.00 Might order a few to make it worthwhile. Peter.
  2. Hi found a pwd coating business 10mts away that will blast and coat it for me.
  3. Looks like I pull it out and paint it again. Any suggestions on what battery would be best to use as well? Peter.
  4. Thanks Gav.
  5. I have got two. One used. one rebuilt with SWM supplied bearings. race bolts and seals. Head recon by UMR engines $4000 The lot pickup only Brisbane.
  6. Sorry Lurch. I seem to have started this topic twice. Can someone combine them. The bracket/mount thats is usually welded in. I took mine out to sandblast it and paint and bolted in back in for ease of access but it has corroded again. So I though a S/S joby would be the way to go.
  7. A. So it doesn't corrode. B. Bolt it in like the present one. Easier to get out and paint all the time. C. Battery is not that old. What do you suggest?
  8. Got all mine from Hemco as well although 2+2 mounting points are different.
  9. Hi does anyone here make a stainless Z battery tray. Found a couple on flea bay but for LHD cars.

  12. Your about as far north as I am south. I have a set of JAG 2" SU and manifold with K&N filters for $900 if you want to add them to the list. Trust me that list never ends. Ha Ha.
  13. Thats OK mate. I know you were not having a go at me. Just want to steer the guys to the offical gov site.
  14. Have this wheel for sale. $600 plus post Aust. SOLD
  15. Good to get them going mate. Prob best to get rid of those flat tops and install some good carbs, or like me fit a Holly. What part of Brisie you in. I am at Loganholme.
  16. There would be NO flow unless the heater is turned on so I would suggest to block these off should not be a problem.
  17. Not from dodgy site but from QLD Transport offical site. Would copy and paste but got NFI how to do that. There is PDF on minor mods allowed and a section on wheels and tyres. All up to date as well 2016.
  18. This is straight off the QLD Transport website. Check it out. I renewed my licence on here so it must be OK.
  19. This is a bargin for someone wanting a great power upgrade at a very cheap price.
  20. In Qld would snap it up.
  21. The rules now state that you comply with these guidlines. Rolling Diameter : + 15mm - -26mm "TYRE"Width < no more than 1.3 Wider than orignal. No mention here of actual RIM size at all. What this equates to I have no Idea.
  22. Good stuff Dave. Wish I was there with you. Troncy.
  23. Should have been there but have been side kicked with health issues. Damm.
  24. Well I am living the dream. Have the Z in the shed, plus a RA60 in top condition for a daily. Only prob is parts. Chasing a new radiator atm but they are like rhs. Although an auto it is a dream to drive on normal roads. Just did a road trip to Bundy and back and even my 90 year old mother commented how good the drive was. Only issue was overheating problems but fixed that by doing only 80. That really pissed a few off on the highway i can tell you. LOL
  25. Thanks all, Might as well bite the bullet and get a new radiator. not that expensive on flea bay. Have a catch tank and also have invested in new cap. Takes a lot o fuel to get it to heat up so will get new radiator and pump as well.
