Andy, that's all the fun jobs you do when owning a Z. If you were if Brissie I would be more than willing to help out as these are only minor things to do. WD 40 works wonders on the locking parts and I even have to give mine a squirt now and then to keep them free. All the other things I have had to do along the way and do not require any great skills except common sense. Give it a go mate.

Got home today and pulled the switch apart and filed all the contacts and bingo the hazards work. Now to buy another six pin plug from super cheap and pull the console out and wire this switch in permanently.

I have done all the above to my 75 260z but only the right hand indicator lights work when the hazard light switch is on. Any idea why this is happening.?

Don't matter one good storm and they will be missing anyway. Happened to my m8 in Hervey Bay with the same carport.

Fair enough, mine is a 75 mod and has very little emission control so easy to change carbies ect. so what you do is get it registered and then throw all the other junk in the bin and I don't think those carbies are original anyway. My mates 76 had flat tops.

Check out the build threads first before jumping in. It will save you heaps of $'s. Go with a Holly as I did and get rid of the air pump and chuck on a good set of extractors.

Gabriel from TTT should know all this any way and I am sure he does. That doesn't mean it will fit. I ordered two sets of strut braces from him and one didn't fit due to different lengths but he replaced them no charge. A really great guy to deal with.

Lee mines a TTT and as you can see the mounts are different to the tri brace so where to measure. As far as the floor goes just drill. Not sure what the pillar brace would do to the overall scheme of things but really cant see any advantage of it. Peter.

You could check out mine Lee as that looks like a TTT brace. and yes the distance between towers is the same. Peter. I wouldn't worry about the cross braces as the strut brace alone made a big difference to my car. You can try it if you want as only takes two secs to take off and replace.

OK got it idling at around 700 and it will spin to 6/7k not prob. Does this sound right. Feels good to me being and old school driver. Have a look at this even got the hazards wired up and working.

Wow after almost four years I have got A tacho working. Only prob is how to calibrate it. I have tried hooking a after market tacho up but that won't work and if I play around with the screw inside the back of mine it will devitate up and down so I need to know what to do to make it accurate. Any Ideas?

Hi I was on my way to watch you guys go round and discovered my indicators weren't working so had to u turn home. Found this morning it was due to a faulty switch and after looking through my spares found one that works. Hope you guys had a good day.
