  1. I have tried using Nissan FAST but had no luck with anything under the z31, it may be that I only have the jap ones on my pc though

  7. re hone the lot, it helps the rings bed it, what you do to one you should do to all to keep it balanced
  8. my s130 2+2 pulls up with no issues pulls up better then my old twin turbo 300zx, it comes down to what pads and what condition your calliper, rotors are in I runs bendix ultra with DBA rotors and have no issue stopping even at 180km/h on a track. try fixing whats there first before you tear it all apart even my 260z use to pull up fast with single piston callipers on the front and drums on the rear due to using good brake shoes and bendix SRT pads
  9. ive had no issues with mine pulls up on a dime, look into getting a good set of pads it helps
  10. from what I can see, he wants to put retractible seatbelts in the "rear" of his 260z 2+2 as they do not have them
  11. well if a 280zx with a rb26dett can do it I don't see why a L28et running close to the same power can not do it, 250km/h I think would be quite achievable, 300km/h on the other hand im quite sure it wouldn't, is there any full speed trails in aus

I had a mild worked and camey L28 it had about 160rwhp, that speed was a gps was about 235km/h at 6500 rpm in 5th, it was not on a track so I had a lot of time to build up the speed. as for aero it was a custom front spoiler with a extended lip for more down force, I do know what your saying though before the lip at 160km/h it was quite floaty and there would be no way I could hit that speed. my 280zx has a lot more power and stacks more torque then my 260z did but the down force would be what will stop my 280zx as it is stock as a rock it did however handle fine at 160-180km/h at winton but im not stupid enough to try to go any faster in it without new front spoiler and rear spoiler and plenty of room like a runway

  17. if you got me 2 weeks ago benny I was in blacktown, I do go there every few months as I have family in Kellyville 5mins from there
  18. my engine is far from stranded, and has massive torque from 3000 rpm to 6500rpm ( goto love turbo L28 ), I have no dought it will do 250km/h as I have had my 260z do 240km/h with worse aero and a lot less powerful engine, im fairly sure that It would never do 290km/h as im not that stupid to try, I was just shocked that it could potentially go so fast, its quite scary really. cheers pauly
  19. I said it before and ill say it again, your getting a pressurised tank, theres a metal line that goes to the carbon canister put compressed air through it, mine keeps getting blocked but since ive disconnected the carbon canister and just let it vent to air ive had no issues

  21. hey guys, I was out driving my 280zx tonight for the first time since gearbox swap, I was traveling at 110km/h according to 2xgps and I was only on 2650rpm with my calculations it means that the top speed is 290km/h at 7000rpm is this right? or am I wrong? diff im unsure of and ratios in gbox have me stuffed as it use to do 110 at 2950rpm. cheers pauly

  23. I wanted them but could not pick them up, I could however if I got them off simon make a mould and reproduce a few extra, if that was ok with ash
  24. duck tape on the rear hatch also helps , my dec 77 2+2 was not the best with pollution gear added ( it actually failed the smog test )once disconnected it passed with flying colours much to the mechanics shock, once you put a good set of carbs on them they go dam well
