  1. ^^^ what he said , stock vl injectors (non turbo) will work fine, even with your ecu they are around 200cc from memory they may even be the same as 280zx ones. for what engine mods you have they will be fine, my car was 60 thou over bore, light ported head cam and extractors and mine ran fine with stock injectors
  2. the hard top 280zx is much better then the targa as they don't flex as much, I own a hard top 280zx and it drives better then the targa ones I have driven
  3. if you are using those injectors on a NA engine you will need to drop the fuel pressure done (not the best idea) or change the ecu, there is 100cc difference in fuel delivery between the 2, on the other hand if you have a modified L28 then you may be able to get away with it
  4. yeh a z31 is a 300zx, in Australia they only came out in 2+2, mine however is a jap spec z31 fairlady z and a very early build number at that, not to mention it has not a lot of rust and is relatively stock
  5. have you got passenger mirror, defog switch, indicator stalk and what colour is the interior
  6. bump $2500 without the diff, need the money to finish my 260z and my 280zx
  7. a sneak peak of my L28et 280zx with mild boost, it was the first run so just some town cruising
  8. pics http://s1260.photobucket.com/user/pauly_adams/library/z31%20coupe?sort=3&page=1
  9. yeh there not very easy to find at all, rust wise its nearly free also, don't forget the diff in it is worth a bit of coin aswell (R200 lsd)
  10. hey guys I don't have the time to fix my much beloved z31 2 seater, so im offering her up for sale, she has some rust in the passanger rear quarter and a little around the windscreen, the engine is in need of a rebuild due to a blown head gasket and my shed that leaked into the cylinders, the auto gbox in it was working and the rest of the car is stock, I have stripped out the interior for cleaning as the seat will clean up but the carpet is stuffed, it is missing the following parts, rear windscreen, dissy, and cluster, it will need new front windscreen, new carpet and minor rust repairs (passanger inner quarter). I have tracked down most the parts for it including the original rear hatch( was not easy to find) and a few other bits. im open to offers but am looking for $4000 upwards as this is not a 2+2 but a 2 seater and is a very early production number ( HZ31-001104) its production date is 1983. I will post pictures up later today as its dark at the moment. don't miss out on owning a rare z31 coupe as it is advitised else where aswell
  11. also both should work fine, as long as there prior to 1988
  12. yeh got that and pm sent
  13. I use non injected leads from a 260z on my 280zx turbo and there is no difference
  14. try these guys dimitri http://www.usatoaus.com/
  15. yeh everything was balanced, no vibrations or anything, the worst clutch I used was in fact a exedy HD button clutch it shattered and stripped the material off the clutch plate. as for the driver being we all know I am a bit unbalanced simon
  16. I have not once dropped my clutch and yet I have shattered 2 gearbox's, and blown 2 clutches to pieces, I now have truck gears in my gbox and a stage 4 brass button clutch rated to 600kw and 600 ft/lb
  17. well a r180lsd holds up to the torque from my engine, what you will need is a stronger gbox, much better clutch, better engine mounts, trans mounts etc I have broken all these at least once, clutch and gbox I have shattered twice. better areo will help with downforce and new suspension. all in all everything new or upgraded is needed
  18. to be honest too scared, also its a little floaty at that speed going faster with out a new front spoiler and lower and better suspension would be just madness, it was happy to keep going and had plenty of pull left in her.
  19. mine was clocked at 270km/h yesterday gps speed, mine has 300-350rwhp
  20. I don't like the 6000, id rather buy another z car lol
  21. yeh its pretty nifty it can also be removed
  22. Robocop 1, 2 and watching number 3 tonight in full HD
  23. well as promised here are some more pics and a small video of it running http://s1260.photobucket.com/user/pauly_adams/library/1964%20bluebird%20410?sort=3&page=1
  24. well I pulled the carb down and cleaned out the jets (due to flooding) and now she runs smooth as silk, the clutch works and so does the gearbox, first and reverse anyway. I have changes the plugs and old, filled up the radiator and much to my delight it does not leak also, she has no leaking oil no leaking fuel or coolant, it has been really well looked after I will post up some vids of her running soon
