    your allowed 15% increase of the largest engine installed in the car and 25% increase in power, the L28e came out in a s30 chasis so no problem putting a L28 in it, there is even a bit of confusion if you can legally put a rb20/25det into a 280zx as they bolt in with factory mounting from a rb20det and the rta engine guidelines state as above 15% capacity increase and 25% power with no structural mods is allowed without a engineers cert.

    its 96db and 50cm from the exhaust at a 45 angle, they changed the laws again. most places doing z blue slip wont even check the noise mine was at 100db+ and they passed it, as for your wipers pull of the front cowling and clean the motor and arms going to the motor with WD40

    they look like a good product, I first thought that for $900 they where a bit pricy but then I read further and the come with shocks also

    its worth coming to get there is still a good body on it, much better then many I have seen but far from perfect. I need it gone as I might be moving over to NZ in the next few weeks so drop me a offer nothing silly though it cost me $750 so far so my loss

    hi George, I just use a thick wall rubber hose, I run a L28et in my 280zx and have had no issues over the last few years

    sorry nismoz is right im so use to dealing with drift cars, welding the diff on a road car= bad idea,(sorry and im a bit ashamed of saying it) if they break your in all sorts of trouble generally ends in disaster, you can change the centre to a r180 from a Subaru much more suitable.

    if you get s12+8 callipers they are a strait bolt on with the 2+2, if the diff doesn't handle it just swap it out put a new one in or weld it up so its locked

    yes it should as long as its in good condition, you should be fine as its technicaly just a engine swap that requires no engineering or certificate. i would however change the front brakes to hilux calipers at least

    yeh the bolt works well , if you drill the clutch fork you can weld a nut onto it, then you can adjust as you wish

    your r180 will handle it my L28et is putting out 180kw at the rears and mines fine but mines also a lsd, no idea where it came from though

    I remember taking out the front sway bar and made access a bit easier, just mark your steering rack position with a paint pen then unbolt change bushes and bolt back up, not the biggest job too do wait until you need to do the rear of the car that is the fun part
