  6. they are quite reliable cars if you change the oil every 5k km, also have someone who knows about them tune the carbs and adjust all the valves etc. I purchased a whole bush kit from the USA and it was the best thing I done to mine. after all that is done its just a matter of keeping them clean and checking for any sort of rust, the sooner you get to it the less painful it is in the end. last but the most important do your brakes, change the fluid, pads etc, get a good set of tyres as 260z 2+2 have a tendency of going sideways in the wet

  8. I have one spare at the moment it just needs finishing off, has new rings, bearings etc if you get stuck let me know I could reassemble it in a couple of days.
  9. I had a 260z 2+2 as my first car, it was my daily driver for almost 4 years I loved every minute of it, if you have a job and are willing to constantly have know money due to maintenance the buy one but if you don't I prob would not recommend it.

  12. just seemed to be a dicky plug it was partially unplugged so it must had been jumping across the pins causing a arc
  13. yeh I love my blue velour but the red is a lady killer , the car itself is not too bad it could be restored but it would be much easier to track the car like I was going too
  14. hey guys, I need to clear my back yard so im selling my spare 280zx its a 1983 series 2, 95% of the interior is there, it is missing motor gearbox and tail shaft and looms but has the rest there including brakes. the car is white with red velour interior, it has stock 280zx mags and has had some rust repairs, the remaining rust is in the passenger side and a small amount on the drivers, floor pans are clean chassis is clean so is the fire wall etc, it would suit someone wanting to rebuild it to a daily, or someone who wanted a track car ( what I was going to do ). I would love to get $750 but am open to offers as I need it gone asap. I will put pics up tomorrow unless you are very interested which I can do later tonight. cheers pauly

    Floods!!!!!!

    I was informed by a friend, the z31 on the news was stolen and burned out first, seems that the floods do a better job informing us where the stolen cars are then the police do

  22. sorry paul but I must agree with ryan, im a L28 man myself but for ease a 1jz will be almost strait bolt in from his current setup. personally I would tear the evil Toyota engine out and build 1 mean mother of a L series
  23. the factory one is good for a bit over 500hp, to be honest it would be cheaper to make one then buy one. if you got me 6 months ago I had everthing on your list for sale except the centre console, I ended up converting mine to turbo instead which I must say is worth it. if you get stuck with injectors just drop me a pm as I have 2 sets at the moment 1x 450cc 1x sard 555cc or you could run what im currently running which is rb20det top feed which are 280cc
