  1. shes a cool old rig, it didn't take much to fire her up either some fuel in the carb and a new battery, the carb needs rebuilding but other then that the brakes need new seals as one is leaking and needs new seats, the rest of her is mint the interior is spotless no cracks on dash, door cars are good steering wheel etc all good. I will post some more pics up tomorrow
  2. hey all I picked up my bluebird 410 yesterday and though I would post up some pics, so far it looks mostly good, the only rust I have found is in the front left quarter. it has the original factory paint and was owned by a old lady from new. we put a battery into her and a bit of fresh fuel and much to my delight she fired first go. here are some pics and more to come

  4. im dead serious on stock ride height I could have got 22" under there ( I would never do it though) we put a set of 20" on there with 45 series profile and still had room to move, they look bloody awful though, 17-18" don't look too bad with a good profile tyre though
  5. you can also fit 20" under there if your keen, a mate had a set and we were wondering what it would look like, im thinking you could get 22" rims under there but they would look crap
  6. that sounds just like my 280zx turbo, as for atmo blow off, in a 280zx its legal as prior to 1985 pollution laws permitted it, the fact that 280zx turbo came out with a atmo type pop off valve also helps the situation
  7. yeh back section of mine is bent and rusted to the crap the rest is strait as with no rust, so I just need the lower section
  8. I would not mind the lower section for a 260z either if your making them

  15. hey guys, just wondering your thoughts on a 410 blue bird, a mate of mine has one in his paddock and it is 100% original including the paint, from what I can tell it appears to be rust free, the interior is in good nick bar the seats. im thinking of getting it and doing a resto and using it as a daily driver to give me time to finish of my z cars
  16. hey guys a mate of mine is starting to clear up his yard and has a 85 trx, it has L20 in it and is 5 speed manual, I was told that it also has a LSD in the rear. I would put a price up but have no idea where to start I will try to get some pics up moz. so pm me a offer if your interested

  19. I have no idea how much power my car must have then, I have not once dropped the clutch and do not shift hard and have shattered 2 of them both with new sincros bearings etc
  20. the head looks stock port wise, the cam is not a regrind but a billet one, who ever had the engine it has very little use or was exceptionally maintained as the head is spotless. how cheap did you get it for because that cam is worth over $250

  22. with my L28et I have blown 1x260z and 1x 280zx box, I currently have a strengthened 260z 2+2 box in it and so far its holding up but you can here the strain, im about to put a gbox from a r32 turbo skyline in mine
  23. I have a 260z factory service manual, but im in albury, your more then welcome to borrow it just don't no how to get it there

I get no pining at all with my n42 and ive run upwards of 14psi non intercooled, also a L28et sound nothing like a NA L28 only the idle is the same, all you can here is turbo spooling and a lot of it I have no idea what it sound like out of the car though. parts still can be found but they are getting harder to find, it would almost be cheaper to put a rb25det in but its no where near as cool as a L28et and the torque is very nice
