    god dam it, I wanted one not to stroke my z but one to change it to diesel further down the track for something funny

    I ended up getting it, rust was not terrible only real complaint was its ID plate does not match the vin or compliance plate

    I don't mean to be the black sheep of the family but, if you don't mind the sound why not just go a stock L28 and turbo it, with 10-12 psi of boost you will be very close to your 300hp mark and it will only cost about 2-3k for the whole setup

    it looks like a fairly standard ignition timing for a turbo z, what sort of boost levels are you running

    I had a similar thing happen to me a few years ago, it turned out my clutch fingers were worn, I bled my clutch and it came good then it died a few weeks later

    my 280zx feels no different in ride between 18" or 14" wheels other then the fact the steering is more sharp and precise with the 18" and it is far from a pig to drive. I have driven plenty of z cars, I have owned 2x 260z , 2x 280zx + 1 rolling shell, 1x z31 and a z32 tt, I have also driven a few more 240z 260z and z32. as for a big wheels and mods etc on my 260z that wont happen but my 280zx it is getting mods like crazy

    with twin su's it was there but not that much, all I can hear now is a big mother of a turbo which is cool in its own way

    im with six shooter, I went down the carbie turbo setup and it was nothing but headaches, im now running efi

    from around mid 80's to mid 90's will fit, im led to believe that some surf's also have 6 piston callipers im yet to confirm this yet but will soon
