    hey just wondering if any 1 else done the stupid thing of trusting old bolts and getting them snaped in the head. i was putting the rocket cover back on and in my manual it says to tighten to bout 40psi but i thort i would be safe and set the torqu wrench to just 26psi but then the bolt snaped any 1 got any idea how to get it out thanks pauly

    thanks for all the info but for some reason it has no jets and the bottle is half melted at 1 stage i think my zd had a engine fire thanks for everything pauly

    hey just wondering if any 1 can give me some info i have this tank or bottle in my zd but its not hooked up its on the drivers side on the side of the car in the engine bay any 1 got any idea what it is ill get a pic soon thanks pauly

    im in the same boat as you all two but al i need is new gasket set wheel inlinement and a bit of tlc but the money resorces are holding me back :cry:

    thanks for that just what i wanted to hear soz bout askin some stupid questions but i just got my zd and its been fun finding new things in it like a set of carbies in the boot etc so thanks for all the help and i may ask another stupid question soon

    just wonderin what is the actual difference between the 260z carbies and 240z one and if the look any differnt

    this is gunna sound realy strange but i had the same prob i worked out after bout a week and a half it was the ignition leads where arching out on the car(dodgy wiring) after fiddling with that it worked fin so check that out if u still have probs :wink:

    from what i can gather about my rims are they are actuly datto rims but they where only put on a handfull of the zd's like a limited eddition or sumthin anyway thanks for all the help and hope more people post

    what rims are they..... 72 spok rims, what size etc etc _________________ .Nate. i think there 14inch the front are 215x50 and back are 235x55 i think ill give u the propper sizes tomoro when i get some pics

    btw its running all original parts engine box etc appart from the suspention and how much are the rims worth i was offered $2000 for them the day i bought it

    no rwc but would be after the gaskets and brakes blead will be the rust is the size of a 5c peice just below the rear window the floor has had these rubber plugs put in and there no rust at all under the car as for the pics i should be able to put some on by tomorow

    hey all i just purchased a 77 260z 2+2 with very minimal rust new interior and datsun 72 spoke rims i paid $2600 for it. the 260 needs a new paint job and new gasket set do u think it was a good buy?
