yeh i seen that pic fits quite snug but with a actual head i can see how to mod it better, im just like that i can think bettter if its right infront of me cheers pauly

as for me wanting efi it is not for a power gain just for shere convenience and possibly a sc14 supercharge may enter the setup down the track ,as for the efi in general do i have to change my head ive got a E88 and not to sure on how the injectors sit cheers pauly

lol got the pics ive got a l28 head gasket aswell it doesnt look to hard to change the water and oil ports but im yet to see a rb head with a l series gasket on it but will try too get a rb head sometime in the next couple of weeks so at the moment im stuck staring at pics cheers pauly

hey all i was wondering how hard it is to remove a engine and gbox and replace it with a a new engine and gbox both L26 and both 5 peed manual. and how would i go about the swap like tips, problems that i may have in the prosses etc cheers pauly

cheers any pics help and if the block can stay cool with only 1 side of the water ports it does make things more simple. as for the time money situation i have the time at the moment due too no job currently its the money holding me back any way send me more pics gives me more ideas does any 1 have pics of a rb 20 head having trouble finding some cheers pauly

i was thinking the same thing with the oil ports and whith the cams etc i would love too do it but the $ factor is holding me back but if some 1 was to donate a rb20 head would make 1 less thing to get lol can get the welding done and maybe able to get some maching for nothing so if some 1 has a rb20 head would epresiate it cheers pauly

i was just wondering if the forum has any engineers on bord. i had an idea the other night of machining the z blocks down about 1 inch or so then making a plate simerler to a adaptor plate for a carby going from the z block water ports to a rb20det head water ports, then welding it too the block, welding in the cylender walls and boring it back to normal specs (making it smooth in the bore again) would it be possible cheers pauly

this is going to sound strange i had the exact same problem it ended up being a leak in my exaust gasket. it was leaking causing it to make the noise this is gunna sound dogy but go out and purchase some locktite gasket selastic and go nuts take off your exauset and smear it all over the gasket and put your exaust back on while the selastic is still wet and then tighten it down smear more around the edges of the exaust and let it dry i would say your problem will go also stops real fumy smell when you have your window down going over 80km/h cheers pauly

hey all i came across this website due too my car clunking every time i hit a bump and it had the cure for it, it has many other problems with the way too fix it plus specs and much more and I would recomend checking it out. cheers pauly

hey and welcome to the Z Addiction as for your hight i have a 260z 2+2 and ive had people over 6 foot in my car and still had plenty of room as for your search good luck and take your time cheers pauly

yeh the 260z carbs have dead flat tops on them not bell shaped like 240z carbs as for performance my flat tops work great but very touchy (if there not in good condition they stuff up ) but being a 2 inch they work and sound great well thats my 2c for the day cheers pauly

my blue 2+2 runs like i said befor the only thing missing is the front seats all glass is there and seals including new seals for windsreen, gbox works but jumps out of fith can send some pics if you want just pm me if you got some questions cheers pauly

hi anthony i have a 260z 2+2 that is missing front seats, motor is sweet but gbox need repair as it has no sincro has some rust still but i have removed quite a bit the only prob is that im in albury just pm me if interested as i was going to use it as a prject car myself but those funds ran out cheers pauly

cheers it was running out of presure at 4500 rpm and then it started working and then boom it craped itself so ill look into those vl pumps today if not in goes the bosch cheers pauly
