as far as i no its more or less a vl comodore engine but people oftern change the heads ect

i emailed exady clutches they have a very big range from single plate to double plate even for 240z 260z 2+2 ect so give them a call that might be your best bet cause i was gunna get a heavy duty 1 from them cheers pauly

i have the exact same problem mine makes this buzzing noise when its in nutural so hopfuly some 1 no's whats goin on the good thing is itll pass a blue slip ect good luck gettin it fixed pauly

i got a new mp3 sterio it took 2 days to get every thing workin and finaly got to drive my 260 2+2 it was great have a good new years every 1 pauly

the engine lives muhahahahahahahaha all that screwing around and all it was , was the spark plugs. when i got my car it was a bit rough so i changed the plugs and it came good then whent rough again the next day so about 5 months later (last week) i bought a new set cause i was gettin a new mufler put on and presto it ran like a dream so if any 1 has this problem, of the car splutering and farting u may have a dud spark plug like i had even though it was brand new cheers pauly :wink:

hey just wondering if any 1 knows wtf is wrong wif my motor some days its fine and others it runs like a bucket of crap being realy fumie and blowing white smoke etc i thort it was my dizzy cap but its doing the same thing again i have a standed L26 engine but with a daf down drought carbie from a 260c and manifold or somethin like that can some 1 plz help pauly

i got no idea but theres a set on otomoto auto sport (os giken australia) for $300 i was thinking of the same thing though changing to skyline coilovers hope it is easy pauly

on my 260 2+2 its on the left side next to the battery and im preaty sure they where standed on all upto the zx pauly

thanks for the heads up at the moment the car is in the shed just sitting there cause i got no money so i havent put anything but premo so far but its running like crap i think the timings out bad but with any luck i should score a job and presto itll be goin so thanks for the info pauly

i found cheaking my points in my 260 2+2 helped i bought a new set and re gaped them put a new set of plugs in and it made a big difference also clean the top of the rotor button in the dizzy and clean the corrosion on the dizzy cap mettal bits that are sticking out with a flat head screwdriver pauly -

hey nat i got standed 260 block , bosch ignition system , e88 head , standed dizzy i think , p53 manifold and a duel barrel daf carbie whick i cleaned all the crap out of last night and i can tell ya there was alot of crap but now it seems to be runnin great tryed it this morning cause i didnt finsh cleanin the carbie till late but the main reason y i was askin what fuel additives u should use is cause i didnt want to do any damage to my engine but i been usin premo anyway so thats good news thanks for your help pauly

i have atm a daf duel barrel carbie with a n32 manifold on my car it was put on by the people i bought it from and i was shocked to find the original su's where in the boot and also in fairly good nick thats the reason y i asked atm my zd is in the shed working but aint goin nowhere beacause of the lack of funds due to army stuffin me round so till january id say the zd will be in the shed also if possibe does any 1 no anything bout the daf caries thanks pauly

thanks for the info hears the email the person sent me (hi there its a p40,or p head 4 litre motor they are the same.cheers mark) also just wondering which carbies/carbie would be better a duel barrel daf carbie which was apperently was on eary 240z or the diseased double su,s from a 260z thanks pauly

hey i was just wondering what heads are compatable on a L26 block and if a p40 head for a nissan patrol will suite a L26 block
