stem seals by far, this is a bit of a patch job ut with limited tools it should help rule out rings, go to supercheap and buy some "liquid molly engine oil re sealer " if the smoke starts to go away or gets less there is a pretty good chance it is your stem seals and for $14 its cheap enough to give it a go anyway, it will not last but might get you out of the poo for 6 - 12 months if your lucky but this is just a band aid and it will still need to be fixed. it takes between 20-200km for it to work. it worked on mine but like I said its a band aid

just burn out the rubber and cut the metal collet out with a hacksaw

measure the thickness of a intake manifold flange and make it the same thickness as that as the exhaust and intake are held on by the same bolts

just a heads up, you wont need a certificate for your coil overs if they are bolt in or your front mount cooler, just your engine and camber plates as they are classed as a major modification.

no 2+2 in aus have 240mm only mk-mq patrols, you can also buy a light weight 240mm one from the states for around 300-$400

you need to know what size you are going, stock for a 240-280zx is 225mm where as a mk-mq patrol run a 240mm which getting a clutch for is much easier and will hold a lot more power, finding one though is the hard part

well a little bit of better news "gkteck" are now in the process of fabricating minispools to suit R200 diff's email I got last week R200 mini spools for around $100? The ideas behind the products that we make typically comes from frustration that we experience for ourselves or those around us. For those that are familiar with mini spools know that they're not expensive, they're cheap and they lock your rear axles in place amazingly (they're not going anywhere!). We've recently started on a mini spool design based on an R200 Nissan diff. Now there is a heap of work involved as it seems that VSLD, Helical and open diff all vary internally and then there will be variations to suit 29, 30 and 31 spline stub axles. We have just started in the design stages but we will get there. Keep an eye out

im highly considering just keeping it and putting it into storage to be honest, rust is near non existent, the reason for selling was I have a baby on the way and the funds would help a great deal. if I cant get $2500 ill just keep it and drive it once the engine is done

ive had quite a lot of success lately with BCPR6E-11 instead of the usual plugs, the electrode is designed a little different and it seems to run a lot better
