Riceburner Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 Have they released any info yet? I joined the mailing list at the start of the year but haven’t received any info yet. The link isn’t showing anything yet either. Quote

Sandown is a bit of a drag circuit, It can be a bit boring, but with so many Datto's in one place it'll be a great event! Quote
Gordo Posted February 17, 2019 Author Posted February 17, 2019 All I have is this from the latest club mag. Try the other links. OdinZ 1 Quote
Hardman Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 Thanks Gordo. Very excited to be part of my first one. Do I need to be a member of NDSOC or will any club do? Quote
1600dave Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 (edited) The usual requirement for the Nissan Datsun nationals is membership of a CAMS affiliated club to take part in the track day (disclaimer - this is assuming the track day will run under a CAMS permit) , and no real requirement to be a member of any club to just come along for the other events (show'n'shine, etc). A little birdie told me the show'n'shine will be in a rather unique venue this year........... Edited February 18, 2019 by 1600dave Quote
Gordo Posted February 26, 2019 Author Posted February 26, 2019 (edited) Hi guys. The latest update. You don’t have to be a member of any Club to get involved. But if you want to do the track day you’ll need a cams licence. Edited February 26, 2019 by Gordo Quote
hmd Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 @Gordo 75db will be a deal breaker for race cars. Quote
Ledge Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 Does anyone know which side of the track the Mic is on for noise pickup? Quote

Gordo Posted March 16, 2019 Author Posted March 16, 2019 Just some more information from the latest email I’ve received. These are just screen shots from my iPhone. Quote
Ledge Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Well I can't see myself coming. I was tickling the PI meter at 94db. So 75 is a no chance. OdinZ 1 Quote

Cozza Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 I notice you put that in italics but I don’t think you’re joking. Enjoy the Nats, I wish I could have made it but... Quote
Riceburner Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Made it one street away this morning before both clutch master and slave cylinders failed. Got it home with no clutch. Hopefully will get it fixed before track day tomorrow. Gordo 1 Quote
Riceburner Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Looks like it was a good turnout and great weather as well! Quote

Good Luke for tomorrow, the weather is looking good. And not many cars . I’m told 4 groups of about 10. Bring lots of fuel. OdinZ 1 Quote
