Administrators gav240z Posted March 27, 2014 Author Administrators Posted March 27, 2014 Some day I would love to do a 240K but that needs a 'whole lotta love'. Quote
JDSM Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 If you want a 240K, this '2000GTX REPLICA' looks kind of interesting (if molested). I pass through Pirie occasionally, but I've never seen this car and it has been for sale for quite a while: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1975-DATSUN-240K-COUPE-SKYLINE-2000GTX-REPLICA-/121305306288?pt=AU_Cars&hash=item1c3e5c14b0&_uhb=1 A few goodies on that one. Administrators gav240z Posted March 27, 2014 Author Administrators Posted March 27, 2014 260z 2+2 it's JDM Yo! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1977-DATSUN-260Z-2-2-NISSAN-JDM-DRIFT-S13-AE86-FAIRLADY-Z-240z/271430773076 Ebay says there is 81 watchers (at the time I added it to my watch list), if that doesn't show demand for early Z cars is going up - I don't know what would? Moderators Zedman240® Posted March 27, 2014 Moderators Posted March 27, 2014 Wasnt that Sam's +2? Looks very familiar.. Quote
CroS13 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 That is so tacky....... The oil cooler isn't even plumbed in, the hoses just hang in the engine bay! Its like a throwback to 1999 Autosalon where a blue SSS pulsar had a "front mount intercooler" plumbed up as a super pod filter air intake... atleast the contact paper "carbon fiber" roof and interior parts can be peeled off..... Rudolf. Quote
Riceburner Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 The whole thing looks like it's wrapped in contact. The excess contact on door locks and scuttle panel slots haven't even been cut off How do you lock it! Quote
MATTY Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Looks leb spec to me. lol just imagine what nasty suprises are hiding under that wrap too! also is it just me or are the flares not fitted correctly?? Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted March 27, 2014 Moderators Posted March 27, 2014 Agree Matty the flares look wrong to me as well, but then again their are many many things that seem, well, interesting about this car. Quote
Alfadog Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Everything about that car is so wrong... :/ Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted March 29, 2014 Moderators Posted March 29, 2014 115 watchers and 10 questions. Has anybody actually had a look at it, or is everyone just curious to see what happens. Quote
pauly_adams Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I don't mind that colour scheme but matt red makes me cry, I also wonder what is under all that vinyl wrap, is it a 260z or a piece of rolling rust Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted April 3, 2014 Author Administrators Posted April 3, 2014 kebab spec not a fan at all. Looks leb spec to me. lol I would prefer it if we didn't refer to it as "leb" or "kebab" spec please. Quote
benny Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I would prefer it if we didn't refer to it as "leb" or "kebab" spec please. but jap spec is ok??... its all about the LDM look. Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted April 3, 2014 Author Administrators Posted April 3, 2014 I guess it is more to do with context. I feel that leb spec us usually used in a derogatory way. Where as Jap spec is usually not. Quote
dat240z Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I would prefer it if we didn't refer to it as "leb" or "kebab" spec please. Getting a little too politically correct there mate . There was no defamatory insinuation at all. Gotta run now, time for my skinny white and golly wog!! Quote
