Had a play with the welder yesterday, decided to seam weld the trans mount, add extra plating and fit poly bushings. The spare 240z diff mount (double cut out) was starting to separate in a few spots so that got the treatment too. Good news is my welding is getting better
I also removed the old 260 mount with the solid diff mount, its served me well but was very noisey and I wa always a little worried about the billet aluminium failing. I replaced it with the technoversions diff mount and energy suspension poly bush..... Wow what a mission it was, it seemed to be a little too big for the trans tunnel as it required a lot of tapping (beating) to get the driveline properly aligned. I also had to pull most of the rear suspension apart to do it, I hope it's worth the huge effort and I'm looking foward to more induction/exhaust noise
