I've got a spare EFI manifold Linton, is it this little black box? The only thing is it looks like it has been wet, would that be an issue? It's free, it's of no use to me.
  4. Should be a good turn out!
  5. Looks great!
  6. Yeah me too, I haven't even dialed in the cam yet. Lol
  7. Hopefully I'll be there.
  8. Got the new metric factory gauge setup fitted and it seems quite accurate compared to the Kameari set. Also fitted some Yoshimura 'dual funnel' ram tubes. Supposedly gives the best of both worlds, short stack is 10mm then the second stack is 65mm long. I have a 20mm CNC'd spacer that will add to the lengths and allow me to run an air box or ITG filter down the track. The body of the carbs are angled and won't allow an air box or backing plate to bolt up without interference issues.
  9. Looks awesome! The weight is quite off putting at first but they are strong. I think the black will be good if your going for the race look like the picture. If not PM me, I might be interested in swapping. I sourced the hub from a seller 'Eric Bauer' I think he's on another Z specific forum but he sells JDM parts on eBay quite often. I went with the thick hub and it gives a really nice driving position. No power steering needed with this wheel!
  10. Are people meeting before to drive over together?
  11. Mach wheels and horn assemblys. https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n225450257 https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/x500594158 https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r204096665 https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e237571094 https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/v513740357
  12. https://www.facebook.com/superstreetmag/videos/10155585123107907/?hc_ref=ARS8zh9sZNCuUhOZ4mEsZyzbgS0GGyp9boC9f06RRLSkvov5zvm8zXBQG8bCw0NA9G4 LD28 block?, TC24 injected head, 91ron, 470fwhp... hi comp race motor with more power to come. It sounds huge, but those numbers are massive! I thought the LD28 block was not compatible?
  13. I thought Ledge got one of these from this guy for his Hako?
  14. Base plate is 3mm aluminium. Mesh and intake 'ring' look to be epoxy'd in place, very tight you can't even dent the mesh by pushing it. Total length 680mm Depth at fattest point is 140mm Base plate length 600mm The longways pic of the air box doesn't show the taper, must've been the lights. It tapers like Alana front to rear.
  15. I can take some up close pics later today if Alan has nothing on hand. Just let me know what you need pics or measurements of. The mesh is intergrated in the aluminium ring, it's very robust. I couldn't see the mesh failing under any normal circumstances.
  16. I got my dizzy rebuilt and recurved at scorcher in Melbourne as per the old Datsun hot rod and race book. I'm at full advance at 2300rpm. See page 14 on this PDF of the book. http://diagramas.diagramasde.com/otros/manual%20datsun%20N0.1.pdf
  17. Nice progress so far Ben. Are you going the NA RB route for the engine too?
  18. Got my copy of this yesterday ? Can't wait to sit down with a cuppa and read through it properly. What a fantastic job you have done on this Peter!
  19. Nice to see all the little details Jeff. They look to have lasted well for 47 odd years, it goes show how well the cars were made.
  20. From someone who is computer illiterate, I've always found the image upload feature very easy to use here. I'm finding so many threads that are ruined due to photobucket across multiple Z sites!
  21. Hehe, the plot thickens Hold on to them and try again in a few months. ALL Z parts are getting a lot harder to find now, they certainly won't go down in value!
  22. Looks like an E clip. I normally use a very small flat blade driver. Push it in between the bottom/middle of the clip and lever against the pin it's retaining. Much easier said than done though, that pin looks plastic and who knows how brittle it is.
  23. I have some spare ones Greg. It looks like the bolt holes have been opened up a little so they're now an oval shape hole. Yeah you're correct, The saddles are one size fits all and only the bush size changes.
  24. I'll have a look on my parts car Greg, I may have some.
