  1. Hard to say but the mitsubishi box looks a little too short for the MSD6AL-2 box. Would Kameari's CDI box fit? It is a little smaller IIRC.
  2. I wonder if the sports option parts will become available too?
  3. Wow, what an effort. Fingers crossed for tomorrow!
  4. I likey Do you know the dimensions of the CDI box, can you fit a modern one inside the replica box?
  5. Ok that makes sense, thanks.
  6. I didn't mean the LED's, the other holes etc on the rear valance
  7. The water jet blasted casings look super nice!
  8. The rear end looks 260z, the bumper bolt holes and exhaust cut out. Looks like they're off to a good start
  9. Is the Siddons car a 260z shell?
  10. Ah ok, that makes sense
  11. I'm probably getting a little off topic, but what is the point of having a logbooked car and what do they check? Does it allow entry to certain events, say Phillip Island historics or something similar?
  12. My JDM 77 2+2 parts car was the same, only had the huge flat washers. Perhaps that's the difference between factory figment and after market?
  13. That's more like it, perfect weather too!
  14. Doesn't look like there's a lot of cars?
  15. Thanks Alan, It looks awesome on track and sounds great too! What a treat to be track side or in the bus touring around. The leather work on the wheel looks similar to the Mach style. Any ideas on the power output when running the injected LY28 as opposed to the carbs, I guess it was a moving goal line in period? Do you know the details of the paint scheme, in particular the 'blue lion head' (my best description) on the doors.

  17. Does it get any better? The chrono tach is a cool touch, was that a period item. I'd imagine they'd be hard to read. Checkman or Mach steering wheel? Has 260z door cards, but 240z tail lights. Is it a 260z shell?
  18. What about the Stuart Wilkins encapsulated diff mount. You'll never have to replace it again.
  19. I'll take one too please. It'll do nicely for the brothers1600 project!
  20. Nice to hear it made the difference mate. 200-300rpm is a good amount and it looks really light weight. How's it been with then new car, was much of the data and tricks from the 240's setup transferable or was it a case of starting all over again? What happens when you have too much tyre? I thought it would mean more grip.
  21. Oh no
  22. Checkman wheels http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g202856014 http://page23.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/o180298730
  23. Could yours be a dry joint on one of the solder joints generating heat until it distorts enough that no current gets through?
