    Grab a test light and start probing for 12V, check at the realy, plugs then at the pump. Make sure its getting power before you start ripping anything apart.

    Nope, never. At most, you get ideas when looking at others mods and or pictures / videos from the net. Sometimes you do modifications to make something work better for your needs.

    Media blast the shell and see exactly what you have to work with. Spend some coin on the repairs then you know you have a good rust free zed to start a build. Be the envy of all your friends after that..

    Id is approx 55mm at the tube side and length is 200mm. They do look a tad shorter than originals but may work.

    I was going to recommend 3M double sided tape as some of that is holding on some eyelids on my Xtrail for the last 7 years and have yet to come off. Make some small ally brackets and stick them on. Try to limit the air going up and under the covers to stop them from flying off.

    Prepsol was pretty good at removing that black crap. Give some of that a go.

    Let me know if these suit; from memory they were new when I bought some bump stops as they came together but I only used the stops.

    Thanks Gav but I contacted the seller and asked about pacing and dropping off at a local depot. Apparently he lives off a gravel road etc.. see what happens..

    Welcome and please post some pics! Had a couple of Z32's and loved them both. Would love a 2 seater hardtop to drive again. To me, one of the best handling cars I have driven.

    I highly recommend buying one of those oil pumps that screw to the top of the oil bottles to pump the oil up and into the gearbox through the filler plug. Or else you will have to remove the trim and rubber boots from around the shifter and run a hose from inside the car to fill the gearbox (PITA).
