  1. Just happen to be taking the dash out of the 260Z today. I'll take a picture. Yours is a 260Z, correct?
  2. That is where the fuseable links are for the 260Z. Low Number 1974 260Z is it possible they used the 240Z loom? The engine bay configuration is also 240Z. I would ditch the lot and find a 260Z Engine bay loom with bracket and fuseable links. Perhaps the car had a fire earlier in it's life.
  3. All i can say is good luck. Hard to find and even when you do you have to be quick. Just the way it is.
  4. Many cars have similar issues up in the front rails. The photos below are from a repair on an XT Fairmont. The concern is modifying or altering rails behind the firewall where the Organic Components are housed. Take a sample of the steel to your local supplier if you can't work out the thickness.
  5. Sure is, but not before a sandblast and final rust repairs. Nice young gentleman by the the name of Blake. Not an it, it's a him .
  6. No problems mate it's yours. Want me to post it?
  7. If the new owner is chasing slats i have some here, also free.
  8. Sold. Deposit taken. Thanks everyone for their interest
  9. The big shiny silver one is sold to me Perfect for the Holley on The Cleveland in my 2+2.
  10. It is a lot squarer. Every 2+2 owner should have this area cut out and redesigned to drain condensation in my opinion. Wonder if it could be done without major surgery.
  11. Chopped the skin off this today for donor metal the right shape. Shows where it all starts. By the way if anyone wants frame parts speak now or forever hold your peace.
  12. Do you know exactly what you are chasing?
  13. Oh that one. I fitted that. We could get it off and make a mold to reproduce but would cost about $330.
  14. Let me know if he's going to buy anymore please because he seems to have cornered the market. Does he need all of them?
  15. No probs, just happened to have one laying around.
  16. Well bugger me, here's one!
  17. Crusing along. Are you going to be able to get that center section of the bumper straight? I have one here that is very much straighter.
  18. Perhaps replace it with Rattle Trap or Dynamat?
  19. Buyers may want to ask another member in the area to assist. Adam has helped me out heaps.
  20. Agreed. Nothing there.
  21. Great value! Love it.
  22. Owen had a set of Otomoto ZG Items. Very nice condition. If he doesn't sell them to me i'm sure he will post them up here . . . . . . Or eBay.
  23. Probably take responses like these guys with a grain of salt. The saying "it never hurt to ask" is nearly old testament now (much like a lot of these guys and their dusty Zeds on jack stands) Hang tough young soldier as someone may reply to your ad but i would think if someone is going to spend bigger $$$ on the better gear they will list it up and it will go like hotcakes. It's a question of right place right time to pick up high dollar gear at a bargain price. Keep trying but.
  24. No it isn't. The fit of these are hard to get right. It may be a case of taking off the PS Gaurd and fitting the bucket first or adding some fiberglass to get it right. If i continue on with the project it will be broken down to a shell so yea, either me or someone else will get it sorted. The Drivers side was terrible but now fits spot on and it's thrown out the Passenger side. Be just a case of some more time is all. Looks funky with the long nose but, hard to get used to after 19 Years.
