  1. The second one. Then strip back to metal, etch prime and cover with a suitable adhesive body deadener like Dynamat or Rattletrap.
  2. As described above if the seal is not soft then cut it. If it's soft i use a flat painter's scraper starting at the top center and push the seal down into the edge of the metal until it fold over 180 degrees. do a little at a time and alternate sides. When you get to the corner same deal but be careful of the rubber tearing. Use little to no pressure until you get all the way down both sides. Once again do not force it. If the rubber is hard make sure you have a safety knife with a pack of blades and half an hour.
  3. What about a Zed? http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,15446.0.html
  4. Couple of Zeds there.
  5. Just letting you guys know that this Zed is no longer in my possession because of a relationship break down and subsequent personal property dispute. It will take some time to get it back because i am forced to go through the proper legal channels. I know it sucks and you may feel the need to comment but please be aware that this could also be used against me. If anyone does see the car for sale please alert me or if you wish to speak to me please PM me. Cheers
  6. Yea he's a good egg Richard. Very sad to see the car go but the new young owner from not too far away from Richard's location is enthusiastic about the car. I will more than likely meet him upon delivery.
  7. Ha perhaps a bottle of Scotch would age better. Ballarat has a pretty good following of Jap cars so i would expect to see quite a few different makes out there tomorrow. Perhaps it also may bring some out from their hiding places, certainly an event we needed in Central Victoria.

  9. Yes i was responsible for the repairs on this one, all documented. I was wondering when Richard was going to get around to selling this.
  10. Perhaps he had planned to have the car stolen.
  11. Well no interest in these, looks like i will have to buy another datto to put them on.
  12. Yes it's still there. I will test it and get a price.
  13. I think i gave one to Dale. I will go check.
  14. Spied this on Facebook and thought, gee it would be great to get some of you deep southerners to come visit us for a change. Thoughts or Comments?
  15. Cool, thanks Mark. I've never heard of these guys.
  16. There's room to fit it on the other side of the Radiator Support Panel too.
  17. As the topic describes i have a friend in Melbourne at the moment and they are wondering if any locals would know of any 120Y Datsuns located at wrecking yards or such. Let me know if you have any leads please. Cheers Mark
  18. Welcome, my 2+2 has a cleveland in it but i do have a copy of the JTR Conversion book that Simon mentioned. Problem with the kit is that i don't think it sets the engine far enough back as Craig will more than likely chime in and tell you about that. National mod rules say you can fit up to a 6 Liter engine in the 2+2 so 327 Cubes won't be an issue. Looking forward to hearing more about your build. Mark.
  19. I know Dale has one in storage. I shall contact him and see what the deal is.
  20. Merry Christmas to all. Looking forward to catching up in 2015.
  21. Yeehaar, back in the Saddle again. Congrats buddy
  22. You have ran through everything electrical. Perhaps the problems is mechanical as in the distributor drive setup.
  23. Also it may be wise to consider the mechanic was telling you Porky Pies. You wouldn't be the first one.
  24. Welcome. I have a few perfect condition rocker arms here. Let me know if i can assist you. Mark
