Funny story i actually snapped my moustache bar on friday. It snapped about 50mm from the left bolt. I'll post upsome photos soon.

Currently fitting an SR20DET to a KE20 Corolla. Shannons are going to continue to to insure the vehicle without engineering because the car was produced in 1973.

The engine that the vehicle came out needs matching emission gear when transplanted into donor vehicle. I have recently been informed by Shannons Insurance that a 40yo or older vehicle requires no engineering for registration.

New plugs. Mine used to do that just sitting there too.

Stock bore. Couldn't say how many kays but on cold start there was no blue smoke. Maybe 200K. Pulled ok in the car.

I have this L26 that came from Vivek's Zed that i don't need. Ran well, no weird noises and didn't blow smoke. Will be the complete short engine with no cylinder head or timing cover etc. As mentioned FREE to good home. PM me your mobile if you're interested.

Those vents can be grafted into another bonnet easy.

$500 for a Zed is not a price you will see a lot, from the pics I've seen it has a vented bonnet. I'm tempted to go get this myself.

Ballarat is a geographical oddity, 2 weeks from everywhere. I haven't seen Datsun parts down this wat for at least 10 years.

Hey peoples, i am chasing a Datsun 260Z 280ZX tailshaft yoke (i hope that's how you spell it) for another SR20 conversion i am doing. I don't require the whole tailshaft just the yoke. Mark

Prices are a little different here in Aus. $2000 roller with no rot would sell very quickly.

I kinda like this shot too, seems that Vivek's build has now stolen my build thread but i can only blame one person for that. The seats are a good shape but too high at the front and too low at the rear. Ok for highway use but you would get a very sore back driving around town.

It is Gav, i feel it now has the engine it deserves to back up those sharp looks. While i did get the L26 running well before i extracted it, it was garden variety L Series power and i can tell you now that the brakes on his car will need an upgrade very shortly.
