  2. There are web sites that do it all for you so you can compare to what you have and measure them up. I have link to one somewhere.
  3. Welcome...love the vision for the final product.... Can never have enough Zeds
  4. Would like to see some shots of these? That it a very wide tyre for 6.5" wide rim
  5. Thanks Jason, thought that would be the case
  6. I have some 6.5" wheels and want to put the widest tyre on them that I can, but am concerned that there may be something detrimental if I go too wide. The following link recommends 195/60/R15 or 205/60/R15 with a maximum of 215/60/R15 : http://www.tyresizecalculator.com/tyre-wheel-calculators/tyre-size-for-rim-size-width-calculator Does anyone know anything wrong with fitting the 215's? Also any comments on the Bridgestone Supercat or Turanza tyres?
  7. Ah....forgot this one had been posted here
  8. Be very quick....240Z $22k http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/_/SSE-AD-3533538?WT.seg_4=AutoAlert;PCAA&sdmvc=1&utm_campaign=bau&utm_medium=email&utm_source=transact&utm_content=autoalert&WT.seg_4=SearchAlert;PCAA

  11. Thanks for the heads up Gav Comments inserted above... She is not in a rush....you cannot when looking for one of these
  12. Agreed. Surprising how much it has changed in 6 months. However I do not think 2+2 are pulling +$15k unless they are in very very good condition...if so mine has more than doubled in less than 2 years. For a first off Zed for a beginner I think it will be $10-$15k.
  13. Bump.....
  14. The last couple that went for +$35k seem to be cars that had few owners, low k's, very good condition (no wear or weathering). They must be being bought by collectors rather than guys that what to work on them... This one with the interior done, engine bay touched up, suspect the suspension refreshed and a nice set of original wheels would be worth +$35k
  15. Sounds like you need you first Zed now to be a bit more practical and as you age and get a bigger garage you can get your second Zed..... A 2+2 that someone has already done most of the work on that is not in pristine condition sounds like your car, maybe even a 280ZX....the young ones fit well in the back of them. They do need to be kept under cover, mine had spent some time outside for a couple of years before I got it and it did it no favours.

  17. +1 for sub $20k without paint, +$20k with paint....if he's a panel guy hopefully he would not put too much on for paint
  18. I was referring to myself ..... .... but if the shoe fits The only problem with this survey is that those who do not come on often will not see it to vote
  19. Enough times a day for me to know I have a problem.......
  20. Based on current demand this will not last long even at this price: http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Datsun-240Z-1971/SSE-AD-3521900/?Cr=0 HS30-00675
