  1. No Oscillator and wiring looks like it's been messed with a little. My guess is it's not working. Still cheap way to get 1.
  2. I was taken back by the lime exterior with blue interior combo and yet somehow it kind of works. ?
  3. Anyone else watch Harry's Garage?
  4. Outrageous isn't it? Not even power steering, ABS, Air Bags etc.. either. Guarantee you drive that down the street it would get more attention than many super cars (you see regularly in Sydney).
  5. This 1 looks like fun however! http://www.goo-net-exchange.com/usedcars/NISSAN/SKYLINE/700030009730160628001/index.html

  7. I don't think quite yet, you'd want to have the front bumper back on it and the lower valance (unbent)... for a start but otherwise looks good condition wise.

  10. haha, try to be more positive now I was hoping Abel would win, seems to know what he's doing. A lot of other competitors were messing around last minute and couldn't get their cars running, but Abel was very calm composed and methodical, which is why I thought he had a chance with the RX-2. First came across him via Rob Dahm's Youtube channel (note the 240z in this video).
  11. Very kind of you to offer to host Peter. Sounds good.
  12. Gregory Datsun, Albany Hwy Victoria Park. WA, 1978.
  13. https://www.amazon.com/Modify-Your-Nissan-Datsun-Engine/dp/1931128049 I somehow ended up with 2, but they are not expensive to buy new.

  16. Back dated for extra JDM's?
  17. Looks like good buying. 1971 Datsun 240Z - $10500 (Syracuse, NY) https://syracuse.craigslist.org/cto/d/1971-datsun-240z/6568744162.html
  18. At $459 USD + shipping ($300 USD no doubt) - You'd be better off going to the MotorRetro place in Seven Hills and having access to their tools and help to fabricate your own piece. May also be same for your battery tray area. Just a thought!
  19. I have a spare wheel well piece, but I am not sure if we will use it for HS30 00051 or repair the existing tub. But when and if we use it I don't know. So can't say if I'll have it spare for a long time. I think there might be variances with 2+2 tubs (fuel tanks are slightly different), but might also be very close. They are not all rusted at this stage, depends if the owner had a good rear rubber seal or not in most cases.
  20. Sounds like a good idea Peter, however this might also be an option? http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/17165-excursion-to-spencer-20th-may-2018/
  21. Yeah years since I've seen 1 knocking about. Nice looking car though! I like the Coke Bottle body style. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Safari_Rally_Lancer.JPG

  23. Repair it, much less work than removing it. Looks like you just need to grind down the welds to smooth it off.
  24. This would tie in with June 71.. but would help to know what the forward mounted one looks like vs later rear mounted.
  25. I'm seeing references to potential changes around June 1971. However does anyone have any photos of what's different between early mounting and later? Are the mounting points moved further back and everything else like mounting brackets is the same or is rear moustache bar different etc? I don't see different length driveshafts. Only the flange and slip in yoke style ones. I was under the impression there was 2 different length ones.
