bullzed Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 Haha how have you never been on Hybrid? I thought you kids were born with the internet I was also born with the lust for cars, so most of my time is spent, in, around or under them Quote
sexual_sushi Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 I was also born with the lust for cars, so most of my time is spent, in, around or under them This is the internet, we have no use for you and your productivity here Quote
bullzed Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 This is the internet, we have no use for you and your productivity here I'll be off then, to my world of life and reality! Quote
sexual_sushi Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 In other news, received your wheels yet? Have any pics of them on a Z? They are quite unique, reminds me of 80's Manga! Quote
bullzed Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 Not yet, they'll be around another 4 weeks as they're coming via sea mail, couldn't justify the extra $200 in EMS shipping. They're actually pretty damn rare I've found, never seen those centrecaps before and the cooling fins are in good condition. Also found out the actual face of the wheel is carbon fibre, so 80's! d3c0y Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Those ZX fender mirrors look a million times better than the old ones. You need to fix the hole in the tail light now though to match your paint. What did you paint it with? Quote
dat2kman Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Zac, Looks way way better! And yes those fender mirrors, and bumper,,,,,, look much better on your car, than stuck in my shed! Quote
bullzed Posted March 8, 2014 Author Posted March 8, 2014 I have been meaning to fix that tail light for the good part of 6 months now, finding that single particular lens for an Australian C110 isn't proving the easiest! The fender mirrors I'm really happy with! They balance out the car quite nicely Not to mention I love using fender mirrors as they show a much wider range of vision! It was painted for $109, not the best job, but it's still what I was after considering it's all one colour and can easily be touched up if I touch a wall or similar. Quote
Riceburner Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Looks great Zac. I really like the wheels in post #108 they look very group B rally style, what are they? Quote
bullzed Posted March 8, 2014 Author Posted March 8, 2014 Thanks man! They're actually a 1980's reproduction of Volk Aero disks, however these have a unique way of bolting on in which they can be used with nearly any 14 or 15" wheel. They come with special elongated wheel nuts which have a 6x1.25mm thread tapped into the top of them. Then there is a 4x114.3 6mm PCD drilled into the covers, you just throw some hex head 6mm bolts though the PCD and they bolt into the top of the wheel nuts. This holes them securely and parallel with the face of the wheel. Pretty cool design and they were BNIB from 1983! Quote
Agno Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Did you do a "roller" paint job with some sort of rust guard paint? Because if you did I'm super keen to hear what you have to say about it because I wouldn't mind to give it a go myself! Quote
bullzed Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 It was still a spray job but was done with Ironlak, which is a really thick aerosol. It came out a bit dodgy in parts where tyre shine and other silicone products had soaked into the previous paint but other than that I'm happy with it. I don't drive it daily, only out to the track and back really. Speaking of which, tomorrow night is it's first appearance at Friday night drifts! Quote
dat2kman Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Like dem rimz! I got an old car they'll fit right onto, but with 12" wide slicks!! Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted April 29, 2014 Administrators Posted April 29, 2014 I like how lairy it looks, but not sure on the bosozoku style fender extensions either side of the bonnet or the massive dildo gear knob. Also preferred Nardi steering wheel to the last photo. There was a 240K tail light on eBay. I hope you won it? http://www.ebay.com/itm/DATSUN-240K-GT-TAIL-LIGHT-RARE-NOT-240Z-260Z-/181385202172 Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted April 29, 2014 Moderators Posted April 29, 2014 That is one serious amount of stretch on those rims Quote
bullzed Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 I didn't win that light, it's far from first on the list of crap that needs attention The wheels are 14x10.5 -38 fronts and 14x12 -57 rear. Tyres are 185/60-14 and 215/60-14 front and rear. About to drop it another inch and push the guards. I'm aiming for Zokusha styling, it's a track car now. Believe it or not the cops aren't fond if it. Quote

Administrators gav240z Posted May 2, 2014 Administrators Posted May 2, 2014 Just in case you want another light. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/240K-Skyline-C110-left-hand-tail-light-Datsun-Nissan-Can-ship-anywhere-/281322324372 Quote
