Riceburner
Those wheels really pop against the orange! Obviously you prefer shaved . Was it already like that or did you do it?
saxon
Who doesn't prefer shaved? The only place hair belongs is on your head! Wasn't like that when I bought it. Lurch and DT panels gave this old girl a brazilian.

Agno
Hamish, could you please lower it another 25mm all round? Please? It would seriously finish this car off perfectly!
saxon
I will don't worry Ive had an azc coilover kit since I got the car but haven't put it in due to wanting to get it engineered. I went to an engineer and he said he wouldnt engineer it cause its outside regulations. So i will just put it in anyway and if i ever get dicked i will have to put it on club plates or find someone who will give me a rwc. Retro Z
What!!. Not sure whether to feel sad or happy for ya. I know a few cashed up guys who are looking for a finished Z so i will refer them to you for sale ad once its up.
saxon
I'd use the term "finished" very very loosely with this one hehe. Though I think it looks great inside and out, mechanically it is pretty stock and needs some help. Will post something up next week
luvemfast
This is what happens when you don't put your Z on the track. You make it look pretty and then get bored with it cos its "finished". When you're trying to get speed out of your car........ There is no finish line!

Just some words of advice from someone who has moved abroad. I stored my Z in my parents garage while I was away, I recently got it out again early last year in Feb and I was so glad I've kept it and didn't sell it. Even if your not driving it at the moment you may find that you come back from your trip and fall in love with it all over again.
dalee
+1 for keeping it. I had my sisters car in my shed for 5 years while she was O/s, just took it for laps around the block.
Retro Z
You still got this car Hamish or did you end up selling?. Its been a year since i last saw it at the classic Japan car show.
saxon
Heyyyy I have kept it. 2 main reasons were I ended up not moving overseas for work and I moved to a place with covered parking. It's getting a bit of love now. Driving it every weekend. Dunno if I can make classic japan 2013 though I will see!

saxon
It’s been a long hiatus but my zed is up and running again. I took it into Nissco /dat1600 workshop and they did a great job fixing up a decent list of things for me and getting it going again. I couldn’t find much in the way of forum reviews on them but decided to give them a go and couldn’t be more happy with that decision, they’re very professional, have great communication, and know these cars well. Plans are going ahead to build a 3.1L or 3.0L stroker. And I have a little list of cosmetic stuff to work on in the mean time. Right now I’m finding it a real pain to find a steering column cover, if anyone has a spare let me know gav240z, OdinZ and ELYAS
