Moderators PB260Z Posted November 1, 2012 Moderators Posted November 1, 2012 Hi Stivva, The Screama is looking fantastic, Hopefully I will make on Sunday and get to a close up look Cheers PB Quote
Stivva Posted November 1, 2012 Author Posted November 1, 2012 Well, hopefully I get it looking respectable enough for it to stand up to expectations. Today I am doing the run around and getting things all tidied up on the old girl. The windscreen trim was installed and now its getting the drivers window re-tinted and then I am going to spend the rest of the day detailing. Quote
Stivva Posted November 2, 2012 Author Posted November 2, 2012 I have a new video up now. take a look if you want an insight to my life in the garage! Quote
peter t Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Looks fantastic mate. Only why do people off set the front no plate. To me it spoils the front on look when not in the centre. Quote
Stivva Posted December 7, 2012 Author Posted December 7, 2012 Airflow to the radiator. And also, it looks good for the kids. Quote
saxon Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Looking good. I think plates on the front are better to the side cause theres this kink in the boonet/grill/airdam and you dont want to disrupt that. Quote
thriller Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 There's a decent number of 10 second street cars that have number plates in the middle, so I think airflow is a bit of a null point.. But I agree that it looks better to the side on this Z. Photography is looking good too the 'RED' photo is really cool I reckon. Quote
luvemfast Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 It really is a sexy bitch! Those rims make it pop. Wish I could get away with something like that...... Quote
Stivva Posted December 9, 2012 Author Posted December 9, 2012 There's a decent number of 10 second street cars that have number plates in the middle, so I think airflow is a bit of a null point.. But I agree that it looks better to the side on this Z. Photography is looking good too the 'RED' photo is really cool I reckon. That photo would have been so much better had I a tripod to make a long exposure shot so It was more even, but I think I am getting one from Santa Quote
thriller Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Long exposure is way fun. Only other thing I could think of would be a light source toward the front of the car, as the door, roof and quarter are well lit and 'accentuated'... But that's being a little picky haha. Quote
RB30X Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Moving the number plate is to allow more air through the intercooler on turbo cars, not the radiator on NA cars. Quote
matty260z Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Car is looking awesome.... a CPL will help kill some of those reflections on the glass as well if we're getting really picky Quote
reverendzed Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Great Job Stiv, love your work man! Rev. Quote
Stivva Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 Thanks Rev! I will have to come round and say hello soon Quote
dat240z Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 If someone had described your car to me. pink rims-grey car, Id would have said "meh, rubbish". But after watching your build and the finished pics all i can say is thats so cool and so original.... Really well done mate 10/10.. Quote
