Your car just keeps getting better and better. One of the best Zeds out there. The color of the body and new wheels complement each other really well.

Love so much about this car... colour, style, rims, interior, great job on the whole thing. I was just looking at the interior/stereo pics with envy/intrigue - how did you make the box/frame to house the head unit in the glovebox?

Cheers

I built a 12mm wood frame around around the radio cradle, then added a 12mm face to the frame that was the width of the frame and height of the glove box. The face that covers the entire glove box is 3mm mdf covered in black leather. The 12mm frame screws into the glove box insert. And the back of the glove box insert is cut out (but only enough to fit the back of the radio in and fit the loom through).

Thanks Stivva - it'll be the next thing I tackle once suspension is sorted (current holiday project) - I have a stock radio and don't want to lose the look either, hopefully I can put something together as good as yours.

Next purchase has been decided. Time to mix it up a little more. The flares are coming from the same place as I got the new wing from, as I was very happy with the quality of those parts.

They are made for the G-Nose, but I am planing on doing similar to Rocky Autos Z (below) and modify the fronts to fit.

lol, that picture totally suits that car. not a fan on what they have done with that car. but each to there own. The other thing about these flares that are different to some others is the removal of the side repeaters.

It's lucky you have them, i havent found many Type B flare kits that dont have the notch there.

New flares pictured earlier are now on order :)

That and some developing rust repairs will be the order of the year for the most part

I had a problem on my drivers side window with excessive wind noise and passenger window with water leakage on car wash day, and it turned out the bailey channels were stuffed, but not any more. Now my windows are completely sound proof for under $30 and 15 minutes of work.

Part number is below, you will need 3 meters to do both windows with a little for stuff ups, and make sure to cut the top back corners on a 45 degree angle. Its a push in job, no glue needed and the first few times you aid the windows up it will be a tight fit.

Well done matey. I have always hated the window rattle on mine. There is a Clark rubber near me I think I'll be getting a few bits and bobs there for my projects. Always glad to see alternatives like this.

The most satisfying thing is the thud when I shut the door rather than the old rattle of the pane in the worn out Bailey channel.

I am now looking for rubber to put under the stainless steal window sills at the top of the door for weather proofing.

Thanks for posting this Stivva, I would not have thought of Clarke Rubber.

Certainly way cheaper than buying genuine bailey channel rubbers from a dealer, that is if they even have them.

I promise you mate. You will not be disappointed except to for the overly tight fit when first fitted. But once worn in you will be a little too happy. No noise, no water leaks, no wind. Lovely.

Just a couple of new photos, I am pretty happy with the top photo. I also have some new parts on the way :)
