Just want to have a little whinge about a member on this forum...but with only 5 posts, just call him a user.... sold a diff to him and was going to remove the output flanges but was told to keep them installed just in case any oil was spilled and once diff was "home", would return them to me.. Well that was 6 months and a few messages ago, and now won't return any messages. If it was something smaller or not worth much, I wouldn't mind but those parts are quite hard to come by and if you bought an LSD R200, would be required.

 

Anybody personally know the member named "Merc"? (Ben).

 

Before he ruins it for everyone else wishing to buy parts off me, I would like to get my shyte back before I start to lose my patience.

When I first contacted you back in May, I thought you were going to "chase it up" but a few months went by with zero contact so what else did you want me to do? Doesnt matter how much they are worth, it's the fact you sold something that wasn't yours and never bothered to do anything about it. No all I need is the name and address of where they are so I can get my shyte back thanks...

Why don't you all send me pm's! I love them all! Honestly Dimitri sending me a txt to remind me was good work, how about using the device to actually call me to sort this out? As I said it slipped my mind, unfortunately your flanges weren't and still aren't the center of my universe and as I texted you before I'll get you his details. Why come back here and post more ranting?

How about you get off your slack ass and try to return them to him instead of expecting him to chase you down? He did you a favour so you didn't get oil everywhere so make it the center of your universe and stop being a self entitled brat. As Dimitri stated the parts are valuable to him so who gives 2 sh!ts about how important or expensive they are to you? It seems he made it a public issue after you didn't respond to his msg's, you could have at least been apologetic about it even if you didn't think it was a big deal.

I made it public as this gets results! I tried messages, and waiting but that didn't work. I like sending messages because it gives people (if they are busy or unable to talk) a chance to respond when they can. Now it seems to you, I'm the one that has handled thing badly by posting on the forum. If you did what you were supposed to do 7 MONTHS AGO we wouldn't be talking about this now. I'll delete all this when I have my property back.

A normal person would have sent them back the minute they

where no longer needed, you should not have even had to send

The fact is it should've never even proceded to this point and the then to have the Audacity to blame everyone but themselves, unbelivable!

 

I too have an diff that i blew up early this year so if they don't come back and Pete can't find his you can have the flanges off that! That's how we roll!!!!

Thanks everyone for the offers but I'm in the process of getting them back. Its just not the value of the item, its the fact that you do favours for people and help, then it turns around and bites you in the a$$! Then to rub salt in the wound, guy I helped acts like he's the victim and has been wronged by  me by posting this on a public forum? The fact again is it got results.... for months nothing then after these posts, voila! some contact details of where the parts went! I'll never get an apology or for him to say "sorry for the huuuuuuuuge delay, I'll drop them off to you asap". I'm happy to get my shyte back and get this all over with.

 

Doesn't matter if the parts were $8 or $8000 worth..its the frickin principle!

My reason of posting on the forum was to find out if anyone did know him and to let him know; not for members to send PM's. It seems like texting few times was pointless so I had to take another action. I hope nothing offensive was sent as I was just after a quick solution to this. As we all have better things to occupy our time than chasing down parts for months at a time.

Now its time for me to go back in the shed to work on the zed.
