Administrators gav240z Posted August 18, 2021 Administrators Share Posted August 18, 2021 I hope they release an R35 GTR engined version of the Z. Call it the Z-R or something. In tribute to the old 432 and 432-R. A hyper version with something like 600hp would be awesome. Of course 400hp is plenty, but we all want that unicorn version to aspire to some day. :). 24 Dat
Hey @gav240z i reckon it would very nice in Blue or White with the blue interior gav240z
Administrators gav240z Posted August 18, 2021 Administrators Share Posted August 18, 2021 Yes I'm loving the retro blue interior. But I am biased in this regard. I'm looking forward to a Nismo version or similar and potential style changes as the years go on. Also wondering how the aftermarket will cater to it in terms of body styles and performance parts to extract even more out of the V6. sexual_sushi
Got to see the new Z in Times Square tonight, looks very nice in person! Even the grill didn't bother me. Would still love to get my hand son one and start customising though gav240z, 24 Dat, hmd and 2 others 3
Administrators gav240z Posted August 18, 2021 Administrators Share Posted August 18, 2021 Nice, I didn't realise you were over there. Did you get invited to the live launch event? Pretty cool it's like being there for the launch of the S30z in October 1969. Cool reference photos.
Administrators gav240z Posted August 18, 2021 Administrators Share Posted August 18, 2021 I'm guessing this was Larry Chen on the left.
sexual_sushi
Yeah been in NYC/LA since 2016. I didn't go to the event, annoying becuase I probably could have with the magzine I've been working for. When the auto show was cancelled I figured they were just going full virtual so didn't pursue it. Glad I managed to catch them in Times Square though. Yes Larry Chen on the left! gav240z

AndBir
^^^^^ Makes the Z look like a big assed bus compared to the Supra :-( So it is fun because it has poor tyres and therefore traction issues? Need to put on some MICHELIN Pilot Sport Cup 2 to make the most of the power?
