'Fully' restored kind of implies it is as good, if not better, than it was when rolling out of Yokohama, riiight down to the bolts on the diff cover.

The term is pretty over-used, and whenever I see 'fully restored' these days I just think it's had a respray within 4 years and probably a good cm of bog in a few places. And more often than not, an engine bay in some hideous other color covered in stains, grease and muck.

Still; documented and 'sorta' restored is better than no documentation and god-knows-what under a shiny layer of fresh paint. Better the devil you know right?

Cheers Retro Z. I hadn't seen that one. Not quite what I'm after...I want something a little more original but it's a good data point.

Better suited for a parts car me thinks! Unless you want to perfect your metal work skills; restore that and you can do anything!

That won't last long...

+1 agree, be surprised if it's not sold now.

Several things about this ad make me laugh.

1. They took the time to photoshop the images.

2. Not exactly what I would call a motivated seller. You want it, come get it is what the ad text says.

3. Buy it now says 1 price, but ad says all sorts of other prices.

4. It's listed cheap and yet they don't want to know about any sort of ridiculous offers. Then again someone will probably offer them $200 for it.

RE #4 it's similar to the typical please no tyre kickers or time wasters. I always wonder do tyre kickers or time wasters read that text and go "Oh better not call him then, I'm just a dreamer with no money after all..."?

never know he could be a few stubbies short of a six pack hahah, but the whole ad seems confusing espcially the part where he talks about picking the colour and painting it? so is it half striped or been hit with primer?? dunno its got me lost :/

its not that confusing.. but a little funny i do agree.

He will paint it for 5K or you can buy it and paint it yourself for 3k, so it mus be in primer.
