handsandwhich Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 May also be a legitimate contender for "ugliest zed" as well. Quote
dat2kman Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Do the Malachi crunch on it! Three of you, seoerately lowball the price, ie really lowball, and a fourth comes in with a slightly higher lowball. That bogged over then three cans of red Supercheap spray paint, is sure to be hiding a multitude of sins, and with so many "race" and "competition" parts fitted, especially that "DATSUN" special diff, it's sure to be a winner! luvemfast Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Am I looking at the same car? It looks fine to me. Quote

What the hell has he done to the bonnet? All those 'race' mods and then closes in the radiator cooling area?? And is it just me, or does that chassis number looked re-stamped!!?? mossy Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Looks like my first v8 240z I bought back in about 09, was hiding a heap of rust under the fibreglass flares along with guards that were cut up by tin snips. That one might be nice under all that glass, but you never know. Quote

Cooper Looks like a good deal if you can get them for that price. However in my experienced and very pessimistic opinion is you'll easily spend more than $5000 by the time you get this on the road and registered. I know you were looking for a budget around that price. So just want to let you know that's where you'll be if not higher costs. You'll always save money buying the best condition car your budget can afford. If you see a car for 1-2k less and you think you can get it to the standard of a slightly higher priced car on the market that has lots of work done to it. You'll soon realise the slightly more expensive car was the better buy. For example: Car A - Rough around the edges and needing some tidy up, asking price = $5000 Car B - Very clean, lots of money spent, little to do, asking price =$7000 Car B will almost always be better value, but it will also depend on your goals and what's important to you etc.. Food for thought... Quote
